Transformers!!!!!!!!

Just watched the movie and I was impressed. I had watched one teaser trailer a long time ago, and the movie didn't seem like it was going to be successful (minus the humor)

But after watching the movie, I was pretty blown away with the graphics and the story. I liked that they did go into a bit of the history about everything and I really liked the humor throughout. Its been quite a while since i've found a movie that could make me laugh all the way through.

I wish they could of given Megatron a bit more "spot light" though. I felt his part was a bit small.

They managed to fix my only concern with the Decepticon selection in the space of 2 seconds.
"You've failed me again Starscream."

I was worried they wouldn't mention the fact that Megatron and Starscream hate eachother. And they kept it up by not having Starscream come down and help Megatron to fight Optimus like Blackout did, and having him flee away at the end of the movie.

Also, glad i'm not the only one who thought that it was Starscream firing on Megatron at the end. Going to see it again so i'll let you all know if i can get more conclusive Evidence.


Oh yeah, and at least they showed what the real Megatron looked like, even if they did make him Devastator.
 
i heard soundwave or/and shockwave will have a big role in next sequel . but maybe rumor
 
yea Soundwave might be placed into the next one. I hope they put Arcee in there :-(, I'd love to see the ONLY feminine Autobot in action :-|. And yea I didn't like Megatron's role, it was a bit small and I think they could've given him more of a major one. Let's hope (If there is one) the sequel will promise something like that.
 
My guess for the second one is that the All Spark forced Megatron into a coma and that the "Ultimate power" needed time to grow. So the other deceptacons figure that out and try to bring him back.

Either that or that the piece that Optimas took when Megatron died can be used to bring him back.

Also knowing Hollywood they might make it so that Starsceam comes back with his own army of decepticons that weren't in the first one. Thus giving the Autobots 2 bad guys to deal with.

Well If I remember in the old cartoon Shockwave was left in charge of the decepticons on Cybertron, so that would make him second in comand, and wanna take vengence for Megatrons death, or somthing like that. Maybe even rebuild Megatron into Galvatron, so many possibilities.

I think Megatron will be revived. Optomis said at one point inserting the cube in his chest might be fatal. Also the humans tossed Megatron in the sea which was a mistake. Starscream flew into space if anyone missed that part during the credits and most likely will not fail Megatron. They will be back for sure.

As far as 2nd in command i would say it's Starscream. Even in the classic storyline When Megatron was out of commission and the Deceptacons fought amoungst themselves to become the new leader. Starscream managed to become leader, shortly before Galvatron turned him into ash.


Seems like Jazz is permanantly dead. I thought that was very lame only because he was always my favourite. Still there are other transformers floating around in space. Can't remember his name, but it would be nice if that ambulance autobot came down and knew how to revive Jazz, and maybe he can choose to be a Porsche next time. Still the Solstice is nice.

Jazz was a Brother, and the only Autobot to Die, coincidence, I think not!
 
Every part with an Autobot or Decepticon was awesome. every part with the... well, the actors... just... just no.

ADD: I was furious when I saw that they named that truck DEVASTATOR. That lessened the chances of the Constructicons forming on a second movie... ; ;

Starscream has no plans of bringing back Megatron, he's out for power for himself. They loathe each other. If anyone brings him back it'll be Shockwave, and it'll be three sided with Autobots vs. Megatron vs. Starscream

I think the filmmakers saw what they'd done to the character, realized the horror of their mistake, and decided the only humane thing to do was "put him down."

I just got back from seeing the movie. What a boil on the ass of cinema. The sad part is it'll make a ton of money and Michael Bay will get to keep making movies. This was one of the worst things I've seen all year, easily making Rise of the Silver Surfer look like Citizen Kane.

Wow... just... wow.

Plus Barricade (The police car) wasn't shown after the highway chase and it could possibly leave him for a Sequel as well for Scorponok.

They showed Barricade's head separate from his body. (don't know if that was said)

My favorite part of the movie was when Jazz, Prime, Ratchet, and Ironhide met Lebouff and Fox's character Jazz says: What's crackin little bitches. Of course there was the whole masturbation thing which I was laughing so hard at that part.
 
just saw it , was a good movie, though once the decepticons showed up did any one else notice that the autobots started to get their asses WOOPPED, they did end up winning and all but they were gettin beat pretty bad lol

Sam's character seems to always have bad run-ins with cops. His last movie, Disturbia, he was taken down by cops again numerous times. He also always gets the hott girl to, so I guess it's worth it.
