Transformers!!!!!!!!

Oh, and the robots needed a bit more detailing. I know them all fairly well and I had a pretty horrible time trying to tell which was which except for Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Starscream.

eh you know what i knoticed.. the decepticons were far larger than the autobots :(

heres a question that came up to me...what happened to barricade? i dont remember him dying.i coulda sworn that i saw him in part of the group heading to the dam, and that was just bout it.

I can't lay all the blame on Michael Bay. As much as I dislike his directing "style," he's not the one who actually got paid to sit down and churn out the screenplay. I wasn't looking for Schindler's List, but I was hoping for more than I got.

i think baricade got his head owned by optimus primes sword?

no, barricade is the cop car. i dont remember what happened to the cop car. whatever the name of the dumptruck/loader thing is, hes the one that got annihilated

Barricade was shown beaten up by Bumblebee at the beginning. At that point I assumed he was dead. But then he showed up again when Starscream called all Deceptacons to mobilize. For some reason he didn't actually get involved in the final battle. No idea why. As far as I know, he survived just like Starscream.

That was Bonecrusher

Yeah I just rewatched it again. Barricade never took part in the final battle. Now if we just know what happens to Scorpinoc lol. Mara said that they were getting rid of his body at the end but I didn't see it.

Scorponoc's main body party dug into the desert and escaped. It wasnt shown again. So thats the 3rd deceptacon that survived.

Don't forget there could be one on Mars.

Extremely. At least when a soda machine came to life in Maximum Overdrive it managed to take out a Little League team.

OMG Someone besides me has actually seen this movie? Vending machine was the best scene too, dented the coaches face when he went to look and then started shooting all the little leaguers. So cool...

That thing was years ago. I think the point was that the deceptacons landed on Mars first and then came down to Earth.

ya, i just watched it again. after the construction area/underpass fight, he showed up again when the decepticons were heading to the dam. after that, didnt see him at all.

Half you my buddy, but i think your bias is getting in the way of your oppinion. i thought the movie was fan-fuckin-tastic. and when elph sister wants to go see it finally imma watch it again. i know to many people that go to a movie just to pick it apart cause they dont like the director or an actor in it. they watch the movie and focus soully on what ever the dont like, no matter how small, and in their minds are going off on it. thus missing a great deal of the movie itself. you seem one of these types of individuals. prime example: how could you not see the sceene when prime went tonberry on Bonecrusher? "thraot stabbed" 4tw

when i heard optimus say "one shall stand, one shall fall!" i had an ear to ear grin on my face. im glad i was able to contain myself and not start shouting "YES YES!!!!!!" in the theater. :) mike may have come up short on the opther films but he finally hit the mark on this one i'd say. :bb:

There's too much truth to quote from Zalt.

I saw'd it Saturday, and it was a Transformer fanboy wet dream. I was very pleased that the producers and Bay didn't create another "serious" reboot film with funny parts. They all created the reverse; a funny movie with some serious parts, exactly how the show was.

A fine amount of justice was done with this film (excepting the mistake of the use of Devastator's name), from the lines and personalities of the Autobots, down to the fanservice of Megatron turning into a cannon and Starscream tucking tail and hauling ass :D

This movie was so kickass, I started collecting Transformers again :x I can't wait for the obligatory sequels, and hopefully the franchise will run longer than a trilogy.

If I knew I'd hate the movie, I wouldn't have bothered buying a ticket in the first place. I went to see it hoping to be entertained and I wasn't. I'm sorry if you guys think it's so awesome that nobody in their right minds could watch it and not love it, but it does happen. I like Independence Day, but that doesn't stop Neyla from slagging on how bad it is at every opportunity.

Different strokes for different folks, but I'm not apologizing for hating this movie. I'll buy the DVD if Rifftrax tackles it, but otherwise there's no reason for me to ever watch it again. I thought it was terrible. Ungodly, ineptly, heart-rendingly terrible. Like Aeon Flux, but with a somewhat more comprehensible storyline.

Yes, I'm biased against Michael Bay. I think the man should go back to directing commercials and music videos where attention spans aren't required. Still, I hoped Spielberg's influence would soften the blow. The movie started strong and I was ready to go with it, but then it just nosedived into crap. It's only scoring 57% at RottenTomatoes, so clearly I'm not the only person who disliked it.

Whatever chance Transformers might have been a decent movie disappeared the moment Bay was hired to direct.

This is what one of the reviewers said in Rotten Tomatoes... I think that guy is full of hate for Bay.

critics are the prime example of the types of individuals i described. if you listen to people like that you're gonna miss out on a shitload of good movies. i really wonder when the last time was that they actually watched a movie and "watched" it instead of annalizing every fragment of it.

*edit* as of now its up to 72%
