So I loved the DS version, so the Wii version is the first thing I grabbed. The main story so far seems the same as the DS one, but there is also a second story with another doctor.

The other doctor (some chick, I cant remember her name) has the coolest first Operation ever. You have to take pieces of a broken bone, and rotate your wrist to turn them so you can make the bone whole again. Fucking awesome.

Unfortunatly, I am currently stuck on the same mission I got stuck on for the DS version, so I'm a little angry.

The controls are great on this game, but I suck at defibulator-ing. Anyone else pick this game up?

I picked it up..I'm hoping that this game will last me roughly 1 year to S rank all the operations in each difficulty setting.

I've gotten B's and A's in almost all of the one's I've done so far, except for the first one. For some reason I can't get above a C despite how lame and simple the procedure is. I've tried four times, its awful.

If it's similar to the DS version.. Bring up the vitals at the end using the antibiotic gel before you suture up the patient. I think time and no missing can score you higher than a C in the first operation.

I've played it a little bit. I never played the DS version but I've always wanted to so it's nice to have it. I'm playing on easy mode so I haven't encountered anything too difficult yet. I'm only about 5-6 stages in though.

I've been playing Easy mode to swing through the game faster to play the side stories ;x . I'm stuck at the 2nd Triti operation...I hate that Guilt.. at least you don't have to cut them after picking out the the thorns. Been busy playing Zelda ;D

Yeah, I got this as well. I loved the DS version, made it like halfway through the extra challenges after beating the game and got a bunch of S ranks. So far only had time to make it to chapter 2 on the wii one, but I'm liking the ability to switch tools on the fly without having to move your cursor, that's so helpful. The first extra mission with the girl fixing the arm was awesome.

How do the controls size up against the DS version? The tool quickswap has got to be a major improvement (Nunchuk analog stick does that, right? Couldn't tell from the videos...) but the complete lack of tactile feedback using the wiimote as a pointer kinda scares me, like it would be too loose on the harder missions... ( X1 ; ; ) How does it handle overall, especially compared to the original?

The controls are pretty good. Some of the implemented tools behave oddly but I guess it's the only way they could do it. Like for the scapel when you hold the button down it makes this laser noise and you kinda just draw where it's cutting. The mag tool is way better this time, just click a button. I'm kinda having trouble drawing the star for healing touch, but I just got past the training mission for that so it might come with time.

I think it's going to take some time getting use to the Wii version but i'm sure it'll become second nature once you play more. If anything it sort of trains your hand to be more steady and accurate with the remote ;P . The switching tools on the fly is pretty neat and the music is great. I hope they release a soundtrack for the game soon...
