Yup.

Kinda strange since the series ended on a pretty solid note. Not much to expand on except whether or not Knives goes batshit crazy again or if they bring in the remaining Gung-ho Gun from the Manga that they didn't use in the anime. Ugh... Elendira.. No one should have to endure him.

Could the movie be based off the series itself? Or does it come after Trigun: Maximum? Could be more backstory, like what happened to Vash between the time he crashed, and growing up. Or backstory of Wolfwood, since in the Manga he didn't die(And he gets Millie pregnant.) Actually though, lots of different possiblities.

I just hope it doesn't get ripped to shreds, because Trigun is one of my favorite Animes. I did a Millie cosplay one year, and I have two beautiful wallscrolls. I've read both of the first season Manga, but I haven't read Trigun: Maximum yet, so I'm sure there's a lot I'm missing.

AGH, I shouldnt have read that. Guess I dont have to read the manga now.

Could just be like the Escaflowne movie and be more of a retellling that is slightly different with higher quality animation.

Well Neon Genisis Evangelion more so just retold the final 2 epsiodes than retelling the entire story but that may be possible as well. Perhaps they will start somewhere towards the end of the series and start from there. Or they could go like Cowboy Bebop and tell a story that happens between episodes of the television series.

Only time will tell.
