Last weekend some friends and I were leveling together.
23 BLM/WHM (me)
23 MNK/WAR
23 PLD/WAR
We had a really hard time finding a party on Friday and finally just gave up. We decided to kill some stuff in Qufim with just the three of us, and see if we could get to level 24 so we could go to Kazham.
The PLD brought along a 29 BLM/WHM mule that was on another account as a back-up healer.
Ok...
So it was a little more than a trio. It was the 3.5 of awesome.

It turned out to be loads of fun! We practiced SC's and MB's and got it down to a T. We were pulling chain 3's and 4's with the occasional 5. We gained 2 levels in about 2 hours. (granted we were close to leveling to begin with)

When we logged in on Saturday to level, we still couldn't find a pt, and so we started doing the trio thing again. We ended up getting a WHM to join us while we looked for DD's. It felt great when we told the WHM we were going to EXP off snippers in Qufim until others started seeking, and to hear him say, "Um.. maybe we should try a worm or something smaller first." >.>
I've never been able to impress anyone before. It was great fun.
