drain ftw! what I did, belthiar and fran were distance attackers and mostly support for my tank, vaan, who I just set with a gambit to do drain instead of attack, he had enough augments where he kept up MP well enough. That basically pwned him. I also set belthiar and fran with that gambit as soon as he did the physical immune thing to keep them alive (if decoy wore on Vaan) and so they coul do damage too :P normal magic gets annoying cause he changes his magic strength, weakness, etc a lot
 
yea i just tanked it till his statis went away
didn't feel like figuring out what element to hit him with...

though drain might have been easier
oh well...he got pwned either way
 
wait until you fight King Behemoth :D (well Behemoth King in this game :P) he's amusing. Goes between physical and magical immune all the time. He's tough but I think he hits harder than his magic does so I just had my tank stay back and drain with lure on. In that case he just keeps casting stuff and it isn't too bad. I'm a bit disappointed.. no Meteor yet T.T and it seems King Behemoth is considered a "wyrm" in FFXII. Still.. FREAKIN FUN FIGHT :D

Behemoth was never a wyrm...
 
well in FFXII they are.. read the descrption.. hell... you steal ring wyrm scales from him.. Fafnir is considered a wyrm and the exact same model as Behemoth King too :P
 
Hmmm...somehow i read you were saying behemoth King wasnt a wyrm in FFXII. Which is why I said they never were cuz I wasnt sure why you were surprised that they arent ;/

Yea, Fafnir and King Behemoth are ugly ass wyrms... which is completely stupid, but yea... King Behemoth does whatever the Hell he wants, just like Zodiac. And as said before somewhere... too lazy to quote... his magic is far less threatening than his melee damage is.
