Went and watched it last night. Had some parts that had me rolling pretty hard, especially the beginning lol. Wasn't as good as Pineapple Express but better then Step Brothers.

Saw it the other night and it was hilarious. I just love the fact that so many people are protesting the movie for use of the word "retarted" and they keep referring to it as "the R word" to give it some power like "the N word". Or the fact that people are angry at the writers/directors that Robert Downey Jr. wore "black face" in the movie.

I've wanted to see this since i first saw the trailer a couple of months ago, it looks like pure gold. I was afraid of it being a little lame because i wasn't sure how far they'd push the subject but it's good to hear positive experience from others :D. Will check this out in the near future.

It was hilarious. Robert Downey Jr was so fucking awesome.

I thought it dragged a bit towards the end, and Jack Black kinda sucked, but the movie was filled with awesome lines. My favorite being, "Why don't you take a few steps back... and fuck your own face!"

The trailers in the beginning where the best part of the film lol.

I thought it was an awesome movie that almost killed me from laughing so hard. Jack Black had his moments in it. Robert Downing Jr. and Tom Cruise were what made the movie though. Ben Stiller had a solid performance in it also. Him playing Simple Jack was so funny. It is a must see for anyone who enjoys comedies.

I didn't really like Robert Downey Jr alot before 2008, but i think he's done some brilliant movies this year and just the fact he's in this made me want to see it lol, i'm supprised that you say Jack Black wasn't so good, i thought he would've been pretty funny. One person i can't stand is Ben Stiller, i hope he's not too bad in this.

Jack Black had one of the most funny moments in it IMO. I didn't think he was bad overall though. He just didn't own the screen like Robert Downing Jr. and Tom Cruise did.

Tom Cruise? >.> I havent seen this yet, but I didn't know Tom Cruise was in this..

He is in it, he wore a fat suit, and he was fucking hilarious.

Shawty had them apple bottom jeans (jeans)
Boots with the fur (with the fur)
The whole club was looking at her
She hit the floor (she hit the floor)
Next thing you know
Shawty got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low
Them baggy sweat pants
And the Reebok's with the straps (with the straps)
She turned around and gave that big booty a smack (hey)
She hit the floor (she hit the floor)
Next thing you know
Shawty got low, low, low, low, low, low, low, low

Cruise and Downey were very funny. Black and Stiller while still funny, were the ones bringing up the rear. Though Black did have one, if not the funniest lines in the film.

I dunno, I just didn't think his character really did anything for the movie. Most of his stuff just felt tacked on.

If the Jack Black line you are thinking about is the line I'm thinking about, than yeah, one of the best in the movie.

Jack Black was pointless in this film except for one scene. I laughed, so the comedy did what it was suppose to do.

Robert Downey Jr. was great in this. Had some awesome lines lol.

Watched this earlier today and it was fantastic. I thought it was much better than Pineapple Express. Tom Cruise absolutely killed. I wanted almost shot Booty Juice through my nose after the whole "Rain fire down upon you", to sum it up, rant. I was also surprised at how good Jack Black did. I was expectin' him to be a drag but he was great and of course Robert Downey Jr. was the friggin' man. I'll probably go see this at least once more before it leaves theaters. The only thing I didn't like about this movie was Ben Stiller, he's a good actor, in this movie, but I just don't like him for some reason.

Tom cruise plays a jew.. simply put... (not ment to be offensive)

Spoiler:
i will never look at tom cruise the same way again. that dance during the end credits was classic. proof that white people cant dance, lmao (j/k)

It was a pretty good movie. There were A LOT of good one-liners but it didn't technically have me laughing all the time like most of the people I know claimed it would. Tom Cruise delivered for sure. Crazy cultist or not, he's always been one of my favorite actors.

I went and saw this a week or so ago…

Me > *thinking* Why does that fat guy look so familiar?
Dave > You know that’s Tom Cruise right?

I can’t stand the guy but he is a great actor in almost every movie I’ve seen him in.

This and Ironman have definitely made Downey Jr. into a star again, lets just hope he can stay away from drugs long enough to keep it going because he is a fantastic actor. Cruise dancing definitely made me stay for the ending credits though.

Great movie.

Someone explain to me though why Tom Cruise was an uncredited "cameo". Felt like much more than a cameo to me <_< Was really funny
