Trouble logging in?

My PS2's stuck at Initializing via Ethernet (in before PS2's the problem).
I'm getting an error POL-1040, but my internet's working fine, and the cable I use to connect my PS2 worked fine on my laptop just half an hour ago.
Is anyone else having trouble logging in?

I have the same now that i wanna use my ps2 to change my pw. perhaps the router has had the settings change?

I doubt it. I've used the same connection settings on two previous routers without any hiccups.
At least I know it's happening to someone else and not exclusive on my end.
Edit: Was able to log in. I logged in through my laptop just to make sure it wasn't a character jacking, and was able to do so. Just tried again on my PS2 and it worked.
Doubt the two are related, but whatever, I'll pretend they are.
