TV True Blood

That is the one complaint I have about Trueblood. I appreciate the fact that they take 2 weeks with each episode because it makes them really good episodes IMO. But 9 months is entirely too long to wait inbetween seasons.

I am also concerned that - if they're only doing 1 book per season per year - we won't be able to make it through nearly as many books as I'd like because the actors will get bored or old or both. <_>

Has anyone else checked out the HBO Trueblood website? If you scroll over the characters, sometimes they'll get a red outline and you can click on them and go to another screen. That other screen will have items that get a red outline, and when you click on those, you get clips from the show. There are a couple of things that we haven't seen/heard yet.

Can't wait for next week's episode (though its been like that all season). Finally get to meet Queen Sophie-Anne!!

But... why does Her Majesty have blood running down her leg and why does Bill look shocked? >_> I'm concerned for the story line.

I don't think that is exactly the case. Go to youtube and watch the comic con preview. The last scene in the preview is what I'm talking about specifically. ;)

Ooooooohh...... Icwuttdeydiddere

Well that was an interesting way to end the cliffhanger from last episode...certainly not what I had expected.

Are you talking about when Bill walked into the Queen's "day room" at the end of episode s02e10? Because that played out exactly how I expected. :)

This episode just felt like the first half of the season finale to me; I can't wait for the finale. Stupid Labor Day delaying it. >_<

(Where the hell did that egg come from?!)

it just looked like she was going down on the girl lol was very funny for me
and yeah i don't know wtf is going on with that egg

I'm dying here!

I need to read the books so I'm going completely based on the show.

And what a brilliant show it is! I have a feeling though.. Sooky is going to end up with Eric.. and this worries me. Not that he's not scrumptious in her dreams... just that it's Eric!

I'm so freakin glad Tara's mom did what she did for her, finally. That woman is all kinds blind. And I think Lafyette needs to punch Eric or something, it'll make him feel better. I mean he's a bigger bitch than Sooky and she slapped Eric! But he probably enjoyed it lol.

Eric probably wouldn't be that happy about him slapping. he's got a boner for sookie so he wouldn't rip her apart lol

Lmfao... read the books and you'll rethink what you just said.

I bought a boxed set of the first seven books from Amazon last week and started reading them. There's an eight-book set coming out later this month.

Someone.. got... freaky with.. an... ostrich? >_> I have no idea. 'Course Tara's so damn uptight maybe she finally laid an egg?

So I just watched Twilight. I gotta say these pussy vampires would be in for a rude awakening if they ever decide to move to Bon Temps.

Yeah, you do need to read the books. =P (You will love them, Cheebs.)

Tara's mom is still blind, still selfish. Did you hear her as Sookie and Lafayette drove away? "Its not my fault..." So annoying.

And screw Tara. I can totally support you wanting to go in and get your man. I cannot support going up against a damned maenad and her army of crazies by yourself to do it. Tara should be smarter than that.

Eric probably wouldn't be that happy about him slapping. he's got a boner for sookie so he wouldn't rip her apart lol
I don't think Eric would rip Lafayette apart for it because of Sookie, but I don't think Lafayette could muster up the courage to do it, at least not where his character was at prior to the black eyes.

I'd be very afraid of his boner if I were her.
Spoiler:
GRACIOUS PLENTY!!!

Most people breeze right through them. Happy reading!!

Had anyone seen cut scene from Season 1 before?

Spoiler about it if you haven't read the books:
Spoiler:
That is supposed to be Claudine. My husband had a theory that they have been filming scenes with her (unnoticed by Sookie) periodically all along for like a flashback sequence when she explains to Sookie who/what she is. I think its a pretty good theory; Alan Ball didn't mention it at all during his commentary on the episode on the DVD set. In one of the other commentaries for a different episode, something was mentioned about fairies or something about fairies being shot and then cut. It is possible Alan Ball just decided to not go that route in season 1, though. It just seems unlikely that he would have even seriously given thought to including them in season 1 based on where they are in the books.

OMG! I just spoiled myself hard. Is that what Sookie is, THAT???

Nope. Guess you'll just have to read (or hope the show lasts another 3 or 4 seasons) to find out. =D

Its because you're a closet heterosexual. Or because she's more buff than a lot of the guys I know. Or both. ;)
