Lame title i know but i was wondering something as i sit and be bored by the wife watching inuyasha. Quite a long time ago the MMO as we know it was actually called a MUD (Multi User Dimension) there were also these things called talkers (self explanitory, but basicly glorified chat rooms) as well as MMU's and more acronyms than you can shake a stick at mostly inhabiting the telnet addresses run from dorm rooms and whatnot. I was wondering how many (if any) folks hail from the days of no pixels, PG+ code, EWtoo and the like and if anyone had fond memories of favored hangouts and whatnot. I used to play on Realms (MUD), and hung out on talkers like Tower, Brigandine (ran it for a bit), The Cheese Factory, Resort, and started my whole infatuation with the medium at the time on Snowcrash which eventually turned in to Shogun.
