I get invited to a party in quicksand caves to replace another redmage. Well we get there after a couple chain 3's non stop the other redmage in the party tells me I'm slacking. I kept the pld at about 60% HP. So he could cure himself and maintain hate which he did. So he starts yelling at me im not using enough MP i have 484 and probably dip to around 400ish at the end of each fight. So i get yelled at for not using enough MP and not curing the PLD to full. At the rate i cured we could pull non stop continuosly. So then i got yelled at for casting cure 1, it was all that was needed. He started to complain he needed to cure 2 and cure 3 the pld, and he said that he was using all his MP up. So ontop of enfeebling, refreshing himself and the pld, and blm(he never did the blm so i started to), nuking like a fool, and curing 3ing and cure 2ing the pld to fool, he got mad he ran out of MP.

When he said he was kicking me, everyone in the party simply replied why?

No one in the party wanted to me to leave, but I did anyway.

I will never party with Tuku again.
 
What an idiot...

1) If He wants Full time healing get a whm which would still not heal pld too much cause pld heals for hate

2) You really should have less then 84mp lost at end of fight but u want to keep a good supply id say abou 300-350 would be good and if u did a bit extra wasted some mp you could have him shutup

3) Tell him to STFU whenever he said shit about u doing ur job wrong when hes sitting there trying to nuke when hes obviously main refresh and doesnt have time to refresh blm which Is supposed to be doing the nuking this noob rdm is trying to take over

4) Who the Hell fucking cares If you have mp? as long as everyones keeping decent xp and staying alive its fine

5) blist his ass

well i i lost 84 after refrsh so say i used like 150MP ish a fight
 
people would rather get chain 5, rest, chain 5 rest, chain 5 rest, than constant chain 3s for some reason. As long as you dont' stop pullling i think that you are doing fine.
 
ok here's what Torque neglected to mentoin... lol the main reason he got kicked was b/c A) he didn't use cure II once, mostly cure I at lvl 45-46. B) he didn't refresh the BLM which was ALL that I even asked him to do besides heal and C) his gear was gimp as hell and he was using a sword when not melleing. Maybe I just have hjigh standards but I dont like gimp players in my parties thank you very much
 
oh yeah and I left out that we were getting constant chain 5s before he showed up, he comes in and we can't get more than a 3

and in conclusion... the ONLY nuking done by me for the 4 or 5 fights we had that guy was Magic Bursting. He just wants to cry to someone on a Flameboard to see if he can make himself feel better for being a poorly skilled RDM

yes my gimp gear that gave me more MP than you, and I'm pretty sure Water II and Aero !!, werent MBing the Fusion SC.

I did use cure alot more than Cure II. But I only used cure 2 when needed. With a PLD tank his HP isnt suppose to be full.

There was none while I was there either, the only time we slowed down was when we looked for for beetles to kill.

My gimp as hell gear gave me more MP than your level 45 Red Mage, and the sword I was using is the Red Mage AF1.

You did not ask me to refresh the BLM, and if you did, which i highly higly doubt, i still refreshed her every second after she asked.


Heres a few response i got from the party.

Japanese Black Mage: Torque <Red Mage> = Incredibly Tough ( a tell)
Monk: Well I don't see what Tuku's problem is with you you keep everyone healed and we don't stop. (a tell)
Ranger: And you want him to use all his MP , why? (party chat)
Paladin: If he cures at this rate, he wil never need to convert and we can just keep going. (party chat)
 
Gee that must've been why everyone else in the party thought is was hilarious when I kicked you and was glad to see you gone. Learn to play RDM gimp
 
If anyone deserves a flamepost in this situation its torque for even joining a party knowing what little he knows about playing RDM. But since I don't post on Flameboards like a whiny little girly boy, aside from in response to flamings, he wont get his own from me. However jsut watch, he'll be up there
 
Just a note... cure 2s grab more hate.... which is the paladin's job.

Paladin's should be doing a good job keeping their own hp alive. Rdms should be refreshing the pld and backup healing.

But ya, just a note.

Well, don't party with Tuku for one thing...

What you were doing was fine. If using CureI's kept everyone alive, and you were never stoping for rest. Then there is no problem.

RDM Af1 is fine, but if you like the INT and MND bonus buy a solid club, or Rosewood wand+1 when the time comes.

Just keep doing what your doing, until you get a flame about you, then change.

First off, yeah, if you're not meleeing there ARE better weapons to use. MUCH better

pssh, everyone knows that AF1s are god awful pieces of crap and wastes of space. Fencing Degen (No thanks)(too weak) Solid wand, then Crimson blade, then light/elemental staves (yes pelase)

And dude, if you're ending the fight off with 400 mp, yes, the PLD needs to be able to cure himself, yes cure I draws less hate, but dude, it cures 30 hp without seal or a light staff. it sounds like you were just standing there. YOU could be MBing too ya know, and doing more than refreshing yourself and/or the BLM. You can also watch for Enfeebles that are resisted and recast them. Sure RDM isn't the greatest Nuker but if you have nothing else to do, like it sounds, you CAN be nuking. Every little bit of damage helps.

Of course Tuku could have don't things a little better like laying out what he thought you could and should be doing better. If he didn't like how you were playing he should ahve told you what EXACTLY he expected of you. And you, if he DID tell you, should have been following it. Two of my pet peaves are 1.) people that criticize without offering tips on what you might do better, and 2.) people that don't listen to constructive -CONSRUCTIVE- criticism.
 
i know there are bettwe weapons to use, i know I should have a rosewand. I agree that is my fault, but i was using more than 80 MP thats just what it came to after refresh, (3MP every 3 ticks). So i do apologize for not having a wand.
