I...Don't....Know...*gulp*...
If you have played this game for a while you HAVE to have noticed some serious problems with certain people. I'd like to make a list of the types of people I can't stand to be near at any point.

-People who insist that they know what's right and you will always be wrong if you disagree. (I.E. A lvl 13 warrior in the dunes with no sub called me a noob because i told him to put "Provoke" on a macro. I was also a noob for saying we should take an Ambusher or move to snips "OMFG, IT'S AN I-T GOB YOU F@#$ING NOOB!!!" I love it when they cuss at you but dont cuss.)

-People who will farm in high demand exp areas when there is a just as good alternative. (This isn't all that bad b/c everyone needs gil but if there are a ton of people could someone PLEASE show common courtesy!?)

-People who shout for help and keep running. (Then they get all pissy when they die. "Up yours.")

-People who are so full of shit that theyre eyes are brown but always have a justification for it. (I.E. I was told that you could get Iron Musketeer gear from the Sandorian Gate guards once, and they defended this statement fiercely, if this is true, please enlighten me.)

-People who don't know how to play their job the way it is meant to be played and get offended by any advice. (I.E. Naveronasis. Also partied with an elvaan whm/war that refused NOT to melee. Rangers who don't shoot a single fricking arrow/bolt/bullet. My favorite yet was my best buddy the tanking blm. Yes, the tanking blm. The tanking flipping blm.)

-People who believe that they know what is best for you and you just don't know because you're an ignorant asshole who should be content to bow to them and never, ever ever ever, have the audacity to disagree. (IE. I walked around with a comment that sed "Don't tell me how to play my game and I won't tell you what to sit on"

-People who believe they "own" a spot in the game (fishing, camping, mining, harvesting, farming, wtfever). I pay my 13 bucks a month too, if you pay extra for that spot I'll gladly move over and /bow to you but if you don't then go choke.

OK, if i left anything out then feel free to add stuff. I may have forgotten something or typed something twice, i dunno. (I am not directing this at anyone particularly so don't think the "you" is an accusation)

BTW, That whm/war only cured other members if they got into red. We finished most fights where she was at full or almost full mp. (i have no problem with meleeing whms)

That would make too much sense though Oni. Perhaps they were looking fo ra challenge though.

what really sucks is when the whm/war provokes. Yes, this happened to me in dunes recently. Get invited to a lvl 13ish party with 2 WHMs(i was the other) and the rest were meleers. Someone asks "Who's pulling?" and the whm/war immediately says " I will" and goes out and provokes something. Then he and myself have to start chain curing him, so of course none of the melees could voke it off him.

I'm also getting tired of all the Nin/Thfs. I don't like to force NINs to blink tank, but damn they just seem so useless without tanking or any damage dealing abilities.

I tanked in qufim as a BLM for a while
As i recall i got booted for slagging off the warrior  :D :)

People who don't know you, but while running by your dead corpse - point and laugh. As if they never freaking die!!! I don't often lose a level - but the times that I have, some jackass has ALWAYS "/em points to jender and laughs" Pricks.

Bunch of savages in this town.

I got into a party last night, even though I shouldn't have (still trying for my af gloves ><), but the party was fine with the fact that I wouldn't have them when i lvl'd, so I went along. I should've known it was going to be a bad night when I saw that two of the members were rank 1 and 2, but off we go to Kuftal. We get there, and someone had called for help on a bogy (can't remember the actual name at the moment), so we and a few other parties helped out to kill it. I'm out of mp, and somehow the whm has run down the wrong tunnel and gotten completly lost. So I'm resting, trying to get the whm back to us, when the thf/nin pulls a crab.
By the time the whm gets back to us, I'm dead and she soon dies from spamming Cure III's on the nin tank.

Well, that was fun... we get a raise a few minutes later, and get into a small argument about how the rest of the party thought Crawler's would be best for us. I hadn't been there in a few lvls, so I honestly couldn't say - and they weren't willing to try another crab now that I was rested and the whm was *there* - so now I find myself in Crawler's/

We run down to the helm beetle area, were there are already two parties. Some ass makes a comment about how there was now a third party, and pulls are few and far between. Been a great night so far.

Anyway, after three hours, I'm -200 or so exp. The whm dies on our last fight when she threw out benediction to save the nin. Both of us had been spamming cures on him, as he was unable to get blink up for whatever reason, and we were both out of mp. While waiting for the whm's rez sickness to wear off, I suppose the thf/nin (one of the lower ranked ones by the way, I forget which) decides it's time to say that she doesn't like me.. which is literally what she said. Then went on to ask my I never cast anything but Ice spells. I responded with a nice little lesson about elemental weaknesses, and how I'm elvaan and really have to concentrate on things like that to compete with blms of other races. She said something about how she couldn't sneak/trick when the aggro was bouncing around so much, and I said something about how she should be SATA off the nin anyway, since he was having so much trouble holding hate.

I'm not saying I'm totally in the right here. I wish I could say I could've slowed down and let the nin get more hate, but he was in the red a few times every fight, and the whm was constantly getting aggro from all the cures.. so I really did need to kill quickly, and I felt I was justified in pulling aggro if that's what it took. I just kept blink up and didn't have a problem.

Sorry for the long post. Long story short, /blist add :P

I got a pretty funny story that my friend went through yesterday about his previous parties (yes this belongs in this thread, I'll get to it). He was partying with a bunch of JPs (i think) in Boyahda Tree and King Ranperre's Tomb. So his party decided at first to go to ranperre's tomb and start killing Dire Bats, and they were doing pretty well according to him until his and the party next to him decided to pull scorpions. They pull one scorpion and totally own it, so the party next to them gets the same idea and pulls one and takes it easily too. Now this is a funny part, they pull one more scorpion and it starts spamming a skill that I havent seen yet, all I know is the JP players in his party were flipping out b/c they have never seen it used more than once in a fight. So onto Boyahda Tree, they get there and are doing real well so the Thf/nin pulls Aquarius (anyone who doesnt know a lvl 70 NM crab) and gets killed before he even gets back to the party, the whm had cured him so the crab comes after him but the pld provokes and Aquarius hits him and uses big scissors so he's dead too, the Drg dies in 3 hits, the other thf in 2, the whm right after and my friend finally dies with his Escape spell 50% complete (he started casting it as soon as the 1st thf died). So they all revive and are back in Boyahda tree and on the VERY NEXT PULL the thf gets aggroed by Aquarius! Fun, huh? So my friend actually gets escape off, saving the whm, the drg, and himself (the drg used Super High Jump). They go about partying for a short while more when the puller has to leave, so he disbands, they grab another thf and (low and behold) our new buddy pulls Aquarius. I was actually at his house when this happened, playing on his PS2. While watching this I nearly died laughing.

There was something like this on the DnD boards a while back, except they were called the Shovel Awards. Something along the line of:
THE ETERNAL PULLER: Whm-"My MP is 2%"
Puller- "Pulling Antican Hastatus!"
*WHACK* *digdigdig*
There were hundreds of them, if I remember correctly, which you shouldn't think I do. I have no memory.

lol just like you narell to triple post

i also hate when people tell me how to play my job... fyi, I DONT PLAY A NORMAL JOB!!!!!!!!!!!! dear god... these idiots dont understand im doing something different. a rdm/brd is not a rdm/whm is also not a rdm/blm. i dont have quite the same mana supply.. but i get songs, do the blm and whm and the pally and the drk not want ballad to reduce downtime? then... in melee... do the drk and the pally and the thf or the ninja tank blah blah blah not want madrigal? PLUS its a great combo,

summoners hastega+ madrigal+ summoners enthunderga, is pretty good against crabs.... but not all partys have a summoner so lets look at others

bards madrigal2+some high minute+my minuet 1,
bards ballad2+ballad1 from me+ the int or mnd song.

so all of you who feel the need to bark at me over a "different" job, can BITE ME

i'm not talking about job combinations in that, im talking about plds that dont tank, warriors that dont at least backup voke, whms that dont heal, blms that try to tank, etc. etc.

oh that sucks. ;-; i've seen people do that, it is annoying.

People who sit on dead corpses' bodies and start acting like asses.

I sure didn't laugh the first time, and I sure ain't laughing now. So why do those people persist to think they're amusing me?!?
