I got Jackson winning this, although Liddel winning would be sweet for a third fight.

Let's see some predictions.

would be nice to see the Ice Man win this one so i'm gonig for him maybe in the 3rd or 4th round idk but yea haven't watch UFC in a while i've watch some of the stuff they have on Spike TV use to watch it back in the days when it was alot of the older guys like Shamrock and ppl liek them.

rampage is goin down.chuck is a way different fighter then what he used to be.

Seems chuck got his rear end handed to him. I'm still shocked that shot to the jaw took him down. It didn't look like it hit him directily, looked more like he grazed him. I was shocked though, I thought chuck was gonna get on him this one.

i didnt watch it but im still a little shocked that he lost that fast. but there have been some major upsets the last little while. franklin losin, hughes losin, gsp losin, diego losin and now chuck. oh yeah and cro cop gettin his ashanded to him.

Can't really call this a comeback though. He was favored to win because of the UFC marketing machine pushing their fighter. You could tell Rampage was going to win because Liddel was moving backwards, even with his 3.5" reach. He didn't look comfortable in there, and it showed with a vicious KO.

Hopefully Dana White can bring Rampage around the UFC more to kick more ass.

rampage is a ufc fighter now from what i understand. i heard that dana bought pride.

Bad form on Liddell's part., very sloppy. First mistake was running. Most people who are stalk you down and knock you out, are bad going backwards and being pressured, so running from is bad. Lead left hand hook with no setup was bad too. But pulling out, and backing up with no guard up against a person you know to be a striker that has knocked you out before is just inexusable. he was sloppy and he deserved to use, he can learn from this.

Yeah Lidell always does that. He's mostly a counter attacker. In most of his fights he always waits for his opponents to attack him, then he counters with that long reach. He relies on that too much and it just happened to not work well with how rampage fights. This should be a lesson for him to not completely rely on that stance on everyone he fights.

It was more than counter-attacking, it was backing up.

My friend who thought liddel would win said the same thing, but anyone who has watched even a little boxing knows, backing up is how someone tries to create space. The proper way to create space is to move side to side, and usually towards in the direction of the front foot as to take away power coming from the other side of the body.

He was intimidated and let all of his training go.

I haven't seen any of the fight Rampage lost, but I would bet that the people who beat him pressured him and not the other way around.

Yeah, you circle but never back straight up. But if he would have had his guard up, the fight would have went on.

rampage didnt knock chuck out last time. chucks corner threw the towel in when rampage was beatin him on the ground. chuck has knocked out many people while backin up. i think chuck went in a little too confident.

That's a knockout, it's just a TKO just.

And styles make fights just like in boxing. What works against one fighter may not work against the next. I'm still willing to bet the people who beat Rampage in Pride took it to him and didn't let him stalk them. But like I said, no excuse for Liddell to have his guard down anyway, that's what cost him the most.

His face didn't show confidence, watch it first.

i did watch it. but when i watched the interviews he seemed over confident. and getting knocked out and your team throwin in the towel are 2 different things. he may have whooped the shit outta chuck the first fight but he didnt knock him out.

Aaleal was talking about the 2nd fight, backing up when you quoted him noob.

actually is his post it he said he got knocked out in his first fight with rampage, which he didnt. so learn to read all of it first and have an understanding of it before posting. but its pointless to argue about it, chuck got knocked out and lost his belt. and with that im done with this thread.

If someone is on top of you beating the crap out of you, and your corner stops it because you're getting pummeled, you got knocked out. That fight is counted in Rampages total KOs, so it was a knock out.
