Yeah, it sounded very much like the mercenary for hire situation. The silly thing about that is if TH2 actually affects the time you get the item. That kind of post shows why you need friends in the game because this is obviously exposing the people who can't round up help for their items. If I was high enough level, I'd help out my friend or LS-mate for free. It makes me feel dirty when I force people to pay for help. I say.... Yeah, I can help you get your Giddeus key, but if a couple of silver beastcoins drop (which is rare as it is for me), can I take them? Something like that where its really of no cost to them.
Teleports, warps, .....even raises (which I don't agree with charging but whatever), are guaranteed services. Paying for a treasure drop isn't guaranteed plus its instant vs undetermined amount of time. I'm not going to pay some mercenary who may have: to go to dinner, kids are bothering them, mother is spazing on them, randomly drop, may log, just gets tired, etc. That's just my two cents.
The bounty hunter post from ages ago though was a bit different as people are hunting for items and selling the items after they got it. This leads to instant gratification. However, I don't think this idea did too well either.
