Um.. Sorry.

Just because someone apologizes doesn't mean they can't be criticized for what they did. There is a reason the person was apologizing you know?

Maybe you didn't notice o' valient defender *Sarcasm works both ways.*, but his actions got some people killed. You keep ranting at Raffa for what they post though. I'm sure Tymon appreciates the derailing you're doing.

If he doesn't, then maybe he'll tell you to stop your wonderful 'defense'.

Tymon, actions speak louder then words. Next time take the death and you can feel better about it. I really do appreciate you coming in here to apologize, but next time just don't do it.

Strid, you weren't worth the arguement me and Raffa wasted on you.

The guy shouldn't be criticized if he is apologizing for what he did, and when you panic, you don't always think. Esp. of others. He did give warnings to others, and did hold it off to allow people to not die.

Yes, people did die from his mistake, but remember, this is a game, you come back after dying so he shouldn't be criticized so much for it. If it was real life, where he killed a few people on accident, then yeah ok because they can't come back. Ruined their night? Yeah it probably did, but shit happens, get over it. I bet they did, and most of the victims probably already forgot about this whole mess. Tymon -did- apologize to them too, and they probably accepted it.

Grow up and let it go instead of criticizing the guy  He had the balls to apologize on a public message board for all his fellow quetzalcoatl players to read.

Get over it, i'm sure the people who died have, because they know they can just kill another mob for that exp they lost.

Yes, it was selfish of him to not take the death, but don't you think he already knows that? And maybe that's why he's apologizing for his mistake?

I was reading this thread, writing down my thoughts on the matter, when I come to this post. Jinnai pretty much summed everything relevant up right here.

I could not have said it any better myself, but in about.... 15 minutes, they will be back to stress the oh-so-awful crime Tymon commited, because that's how forums are.

I'll start 'panicing'' and training Marchelute to Selbina, Anenomes to Yuhtunga, Ungur to the first map in Gustav and Guivre to Terrigan, and expect to be totally immune to criticism when I apologize.

Remember that every death that was caused via zoning the Statue is at least 150% of the XP Tymon would have lost had he eaten the death. This makes him 150% more important than the average Garlaige PT member on the top floor, and 1800% more important than the 2 parties (minimum) that were probably there that time of night.

My girlfriend was there (not for the zoning, but the aftermath, she needed to camp a coffer for her AF) and saw at least 2 dead bodies when she zoned in + a lot of weakened people waiting outside. Shouts or not, a lot of lower-level players are going to get the impression that high level people think lowbies are simply not worth worrying about and ruining the zone (be it for 10 minutes or an hour) so they don't have to eat 50% less XP than the lowbies with a R3.

Did I say I thought I was immune to criticism? I expected criticism, but I posted this anyway because I wanted to get the point across that I'm sorry.

I appriciate the criticism that I recieved from this, because it's just going to keep me from panicing and doing it again, whether it's in Garlaige or another zone.

PS: Very good post Oni ^^;

And just to be sure we're clear - I don't think any less of you, I just figure opinion share++ can't be bad.

Loud and clear, I don't think any less of you either.

I welcome posts like yours, I love to be told when I'm in the wrong.

Wow, thanks for blowing it out of proportion. The way you put it, it sounds like you are doing it on purpose. I don't think this happens everyday in Garlaige, or in Valkurm, or in any place else.

Don't you think the guy got enough criticism the night it happened? Also, in a paniced state, you don't think of others. I don't think he was thinking of all the percentage of exp lost by the lowbies. He was thinking of his own life, and he realized afterwards that it was wrong of him, that is why he is APOLOGIZING. Really, I think he aware of what he did about now, you don't need to shove it down his throat.

I doubt all the lowbies would think that the high levels don't care, because Tymon -did- apologize to them. Apparently you think that Tymon doesn't care about the lowbies, then why did he apologize? If he didn't care, he'd just /laugh and walk away from it, but no, he apologized. He also held the thing off to allow others to zone. If they didn't zone like they were asked to, then that's their own stupidity. However, he still apologized even after they made their own mistake.

Tymon made a mistake.
Tymon realized it.
Tymon apologized to everyone.
Now it is time for you to let it go and not shove it down his throat.

Jinnai - No one said he did it on purpose, just that he was selfish in zoning a level 60 NM that he and his friends spawned ignorantly.

We didn't spawn it ignorantly...

I was helping Moxie with RDM AF3, we killed it the first time, Moxie didn't know to trade the Nail Puller AFTER he got it, and touched it again, respawning Guardian statue.

I'm sorry if you got confused, I was talking about what Cubswoo said about him 'Panicing' and zoning all the other popped mobs.
