Gilgamesh - During disc three, if you've already gained Odin, Gilgamesh will begin to appear randomly. Like Odin, you won't be able to control him. Gilgamesh, however, isn't just restricted to showing up at the start of a battle, and he can also appear during boss fights. Gilgamesh will use a separate attack based on which of his four weapons he decides to use

the guy who kills Odin

and yes its swords

Odin - Once inside the Centra Ruins, find and defeat Odin. Once you do, he'll join your party. Odin isn't a Guardian Force that you can control: he'll randomly appear during the start of some battles. Odin will appear roughly in one out of every ten (non boss) battles and instantly destroy the enemies on the field by slicing them in half with his Zantetsuken.

Granted he does have the lance too in 7, but he's known for the sword.

Odin the myth has a Lance, the DRG relic lance is named after it.
Whenever he's seen in a cutscene he uses the Lance (/point FF IX)

Im pretty sure its odin also, Yesterday I was finishing the Lure of the wildcat in windurst and talked to a taru and he showed me a celestial map (I think it was at the Rhinostery(se) but im not sure). It Showed odin and other avatars. Doesnt prove anything, but its something to think about

I didn't think horses existed in vana'deil. That's why we use chocobos. I don't remember ever seeing a horse anywhere else in the game before.

Maybe. Just seems out of place as if I saw a jetski or speedboat while taking the ferry to the near east.

Given a choice between riding a horse and a mobile KFC, I would take the horse. If we have to ride chocobos, I want to see Odin (or whoever this is) on one too.

Yeah, it does seem way out of place. But you can't have Odin without his horse.

Its a simple enough fix anyway. Get someone to mod odin off his horse, take the horse mod and hope it has dismount movements, and swap it with chocobos. Then everyone gets to ride horses :)

Would probably just be able to use the chocobo mount and dismount dats for that.

Odins horse has 6 legs. That would actually make it seem less out of place as it wouldn't be a horse as you and I know it.

So in all actuality, you do have odin without his horse.

Nice so they keep nerfing melee and our tp and then they keep making mages awesome.I think its my time to quit!
