I was in the middle of the Chasm CoP mission. I had just got my key item (after soloing the Antican NM) and got booted. I got back, didn't think nothing of it, climbed to the top of the tower when I noticed:

I didn't have the key item.

POL 1040

I've been getting POL 1040 since last night when I got home from work(approx 10:30 eastern). My internet is working fine and I haven't changed any of my settings. Is POL screwed up or is something messed on my end? Logged on this morning and got same message? Has anyone else been experiencing this problem or is my crap just messed up?

I think SE should prorate days like these. I want my .533333 cents back for being robbed of a day of gaming :roll:
 
All the server double-failsafe 4-way redundant mechanisms in the world won't be worth their weight in dog poo once the power goes out, and you'd be hard pressed to find a game developer that is willing to pay the 30k+ for a good in-house battery backup system. Those things are freakin expensive, they were pricing them out for our server room here.
 
I've been getting an odd error for almost an hour now. I got booted and everytime I try to get back on, it says that I can't connect to the server. Sorry to my exp party.
 
This is the error I'm getting if anyone else is getting it. Every time I log on, I select my character, select yes I would like to use that character, and then get this message right before XI would load up.
