It's not November yet... How did this guy get a Moogle cap?
 
It's something you get from attending the Tokyo Game Show.
 
That's my point. The fan fest isn't until November.

Edit: However, I just saw that this was given out at the Tokyo Game Show's FFXI event. The Nomad Cap is the fan fest item that'll be given out in a few months.
 
SE's way of saying us NA are an unorganized pack, moving place to place as we use up resources.
 
With paytaru warping you there for virtually free why would you even need this item with a rediculous 3 day recast?

Setting your homepoint to your home nation is, in my opinion, better than AU, not least for the lag.

Therefore, you pretty much have a free warp item there (albeit it only being usable every 3 days). Coupled with the Tavnazian Ring and OP warp, some friendly WHMs who can give you a holla after a party or event (to go through sea) and you've pretty much got your travel plan sorted.

That'd actually be sortof useful if it teleported the party to the user's nation, since it could make for easier access to some areas (not that any area is particularly tough to reach as it is, but when you're wanting to save a few minutes to reach, say, Giddeus or Palborough)

...But if it teleports them all to their own specific home nation, that's pretty much saving everyone a silver coin. So it's pretty much widely useful like all event items.

Yeah, I just wish that Mercenary Badges gave you besieged notifications on in the Conquest Areas.

Yeah it's the one people got from going to the FFXI event at TGS, previously mentioned in the thread :P Now where's my chococard bish!
