What did I do wrong here?

Pty:
Me BLM26/WHM13
Onaule SMN26/WHM13
Platlet BRD26/WHM13
Kyana NIN26/WAR13
Tantricus PLD27/WAR13
Batyera THF26/???

We're fighting mandies in Yuhtunga Jungle, with no problem. Smithy spawns behind Onaule. Ok, I put Smithy to sleep, we finish off the mandy and move on to the Smith because it woke. Kyana dies during the scramble (nothing wrong so far) I use manafont to cure/nuke. Then of course the gob releases his bomb killing himself and some members. Kyana, Platlet and Onaule. I simply thought, ok this party's going to hell, and there's nothing I can do about it. So I just start curing the survivors and say I can raise, run back to kazham grab my rdm, (Platlet bloodports and gets back before I do) come back out and see another Smithy start bashing on the pty again. I checked it, Easy Prey. Ok I start nuking it (without any armor on) with only Batyera helping me fight it. Tantricus and Platlet weren't even paying attention because they were still facing the other way. Once they finally saw what was going on, they start spamming the chat "Zone, Zone, Zone". I'm sitting here thinking well shit, this is where the n00bs take over. So Tantricus and his genius mind smashes the Invincible macro and starts beating on the gob, then when he sees his sword is doing shit damage to it, he starts to panic and begins walking backwards to kazham. He finally disengages and starts running the other way while the gob was chasing him. Of course everyone who was alive starts running after him (the gob) and the only person who could do real damage was me nuking couldn't because of distance. No Chainspell was not available because I used Manafont already. I tell him to come back, knowing he was already dead, why not just let me finish him right here I could raise everyone who was dead anyway. So the gob kills him with another hit, he hits the ground, I get half a nuke out, and Platlet starts running again with the gob chasing him. I get message can't cast spell and gob dissapears from target. I just said forget it Platlet is gonna die too, as far as he runs I start resting mp cause i know gob was gonna come back for me. Platlet dies, gob comes back and puts about 200 points of dmg on me instantly finishing me off. I die. Batyera uses Perfect Dodge trying to kill the gob, Noble effort, /clap to her,but she dies as well. Tantricus starts spewing with "Prince is gay, worst party ever, stupid leader, worst camp ever" blah blahb, whatever childish talk. So I just say we could have beaten it, and I was sorry. I didn't want to explain myself at the time cause I knew everyone was already upset. Onaule comes, raises all of us, enf of story, end of party.

This is what I thought, we were only short a NIN. My nukes were doing ok damage to the gob, enough to kill it if the gob was close enough for me to nuke it. If we operated as a normal party, with Tan tanking, me curing and nuking we would have been fine. Tantricus and Platlet starts smashing me about how we should have all zoned, of course Kyana started talkin shit about we should have zoned cause everyone else was. Tan: "Prince is a pathetic leader"... and what not.

What I want to know is, did I do something wrong? Please tell me. I'll fix it the next time. And I already said sorry, but yet Tan and Plat insisted to keep going on and on. I mean come on, shit happens, we all die once in a while. Atleast I don't cry like a little baby about it blame others for it. And plus if Tan and Plat stayed calm in the first place fighting with cool minds, we could have beaten the gob with no more deaths taking place. Keep running, no one can cure you, you die. You stay here, fight, with a rdm around, you will be cured, and the mob will be nuked, the mob will die instead of you. That's just what I thought based on the amount of dmg my black magic was doing to the mob.

[Please] [/slap] <me> if I'm wrong.

-Merry Christmas.

Consider all mistakes corrected since I can't edit.

If I was in your party, I would have shruged it off and said, "shit happens." Thats just me though. Its hard too know what too do when shit hits the fan and people start too panic. I always try too keep a good atitude even though stuff like that happens. You can always get back the exp. you lost but pissing someone off with an attitude will hurt you for a good while. Its always best too bite it and walk away showing good sportsmanship even though you proably are cussing behind the computer with people in the house with you looking at you like a crazy nut  People make mistakes, people learn. That crappy BLM you were in party with at level 30 may grow into a kickass level 50 one or maybe better playing another job. Thats just an example I am bringing up from the top of my head. People should think before going off on others.

Merry Christmas btw.

I've been in parties with Tantricus lately (like I've seen you around too since we've been leveling BLM in the same place) and uh...meh...I should have known some odd things were bound to be afoot when I came across him leveling a job in Tahrongi, in a party with a member of my LS. Tant was serving as puller and tank, constantly getting the shit kicked out of him and sucking up my MP (I was leveling club skills on dhalmel nearby) because the mages their mages couldn't keep up with the damage and their nuker was lighting everything up like Chernobyl, like he was soloing simple bunnies, and skipping the enfeebling spells altogether, like a total jackass.

At one point I was resting MP after Tantricus pulled a dhalmel and ended up linking another. He ran up to me and stood there, expecting me to nurse him back to health and take the targets off him. His party (not a full party, by the way) just watched and did nothing. So I watched him drop. My patience and my charity only go so far, and they had no business handling a dhalmel while underpowered anyway...or making their tank pull when they had a SMN with Carbuncle readily available. Does that make me evil? I try helping people when I see they're in trouble, but the consistency of the trouble got on my nerves.
