Unable to verify something information

It may be expansion, but i dont know. If i install the x-pac, but do not register it and try to run my game off the WotG disc, do i need to register it first? I have been having trouble trying to register, due to congestion so i just decided to register it later. ANy suggestions or answers to my problem

when you try zoning into WotG zones, I'd think it will not let you.
