I may be able to take some off your hands.
How many do you need? lol

Hell, I saw a Osode going for like 70MIL. Each time you have to relist an item is more gil being taken out've the economy. ^^b If you see 20 Ores on the AH and it looks like only 10 have sold that day-- chances are.. you're not going to sell. (Unless you drop the price.) Sometimes you just have to size your market and go from there. Push your 20k ores when someone is buying out all of the Ores, and let them go for 10k when they're going slow. 10k is more than the 0k that you're going to get if you have to /toss it. Why should you get 20k for your raw goods if the end product is selling for less?

And LOL@ 3Mil for Mountain Gaitors. I'd pay @ most 300k for them... some prices are just laughable at best considering the stats you get for it. Every time I see a Royal Cloak sell for 20+ Mil I LOL in RL.

I've under cut prices on AH items before. Though I don't under cut a huge percentage of the current price. My undercut in NEVER more that 7%. I usually stay at the 5% range. Of course, I only do this when I have over stock of a said item and have not been able to sell it quite sometime. Then again, the items I put up are not expensive really.

Ah, how the seasons change...

Winter and summer: U FAGGUTZ STOP INFLATING PRICES

Spring and fall: WTF JERKS DON UNDERCUT ME

Deal with undercutters or bazaar overnight in front of the guild.

Well I think the less things cost the less gill ppl need to get what they need in the first place. I rather take a loss and have prices drop than skyrocket like they did in the winter that shit is un called for

I didn't mind this winter at all - sell a PCC for 33 mil, watch it rapidly deflate to about 15.

The best thing to do when prices go up is to STUP FUCKING BUYING PRODUCTS and go do things that make you more of the newly inflated gil. When the market crashes your net worth skyrockets.

Yeah cause these aren't the best boots available from 38-62 as a Mithra RdM or anything .......
But yeah, some prices are retarded. I still think E.Sword should not break 10m, Kraken should never have broken 50..... if that.

Cubs nailed it ...

So many of you douchebags getting to be fatasses having your cake and eating it too.... It's nice to see at least something on the game has dropped back to what it was worth when i quit.

i say undercut the fuck out of the ores and drop em down to 15k where the should've stayed in the first place and go you for deflating the economy that much more.

I don't really mind undercutting materials like DS that is needed for skilling up. The crafters are taking it in the ass because of how high the prices are.

if us crafters take it high then going to rise prices of things most people need so people need to work out what they want to pay for these items as in the end it goes in a big circle

Typically crafters don't raise prices, they buy materials at raised prices then sell back for almost no profit. Shit like V claws are totally different than DS Ingots or in my case, HQ crab shells. They're never gonna be used for anything other than Carapace shit, which like no one ever wants. Personally whenever I come across steel ingots or iron ingots from desynthisis or whatever, I undercut a lot so that crafter using it to make a DS Nodowa or whatever loses a little less than 50k a synth. If it screws someone who is trying to sell their material for top dollar, I could give less of a shit.

What ever happened to getting off your ass and farming what you need instead of farming shit you can't use to put up on AH for a price you KNOW is inflated and screwing up the economy down the line?

Must be nice to have RMT as a scapegoat for the player base not banding together and running the ... wait for it .... PLAYER RUN economy.

Why don't I farm them? Ok, this is why. Let's say 1/10 Robber Crabs I solo drops a Shell. Takes about 3 minutes to solo one. so we're looking at 6 shells an hour. That's 3 synths. Now it takes like 30 synths a level where I am. So if I were to farm these, it would take me about 20 hours of non stop Robber Crab killing to get 1 skillup. So factor in Dynamis, Sky, School, Real life duties like laundry, cooking and sleep and I'd prolly be able to farm for 2-4 hours a day. That means 6-12 shells, which is 3-6 synths which would take me 6-10 days for 1 skillup. So for the next 12 skillups I need 72-144 days of 2-4 hours farming.
Don't give me shit about farming at this level, cuz it's a waste of time I don't have.

Btw, that doesn't include Copper Ingots, Sheep Leather or Ram Leather I'd need for the synths, so imagine how long it would take to farm that daily and add it to the 72-144.

so if you're not willing to put the time into farming, you pay the price. You either pay in time, or in Gil

Yeah I put in the gil, and I also undercut materials I get so other people don't get screwed as badly.
Undercutting Skillup Materials = GOOD

This is so true. There are two sides. You're either a buyer or a seller. If you're a seller, you're probably pissed prices are dropping. If you're a buyer, you'll be happy prices are dropping.

You can't satisfy everyone but I don't see why you just don't undercut the undercutter then. Or go hunt them down and ballista them..haha. Better yet.. if you have an item that's a crafting item, why don't people just bazaar that outside the guild>? I mean, that's way more convienent than walking to the AH.

Acutie you're my hero.

You just described exactly why FF fails on the economy issue.

If the game provided for the number of people on it you wouldn't have this issue, but it doesn't. Drops and gil are meager at best and require huge portions of time to make farming anything you might need almost counterproductive. Most people find farming completely impractical. Consequentially you have an economic rollercoaster lead by those who have time and paid for by those who don't.

Making the real monsters the dev team, it's not like they don't know this is the case.

Farming is only as impractical as the person doing the farming. It is quite simple to find a drop that pays well for the time spent on it. I know "pays well" is in the eye of the beholder, but I think 100k an hour is just fine and dandy.
