I didn't realize this came out yesterday until one of my friend's brought it up at school today, but has anyone picked up Megadeth's new CD? I haven't heard much on it, but people are saying it's more of a return to their older style and I'm excited. Any reviews would be nice to figure out if this is worth $10 or not.

Yesterday, Megadeth was being interviewed on a rock station here in Chicago. When the interviewer asked about the Gears of War song, he started talking about how they spoke with microsoft about doing a song something something (I don't remember) Gears commercial. When asked if he had played the game, the guy from Megadeth said, "Yeah. I played it for a while. There's this sledge hammer you can use to crush guys heads in, and a chain saw and some guns. I liked it."

I've only beaten the game once, but I don't recall a sledge hammer. Did I miss something, or is this guy just a huge liar face?

As far as the album is concerned, get it, it's good.

He might be pulling the sledge hammer thing from Dead Rising, you can squish zombie heads with a 16lb sledge in that game.

I didn't know they put this out, gonna check it out. Not many Megadeth songs are ones I can honestly say I don't like.

BOOOOOO Megadeath... a band forged out of shear spite. Although they've got some good songs...glad to hear there's a new album out, might be worth listening to.
I've beaten GoW on every difficulty and I've never seen a single sledgehammer. Fly is probabaly right, Dead Rising has some fun sledgehammer action. Mustain is a dumbass.

The 2nd word in the title describes what this album is perfectly.

I'd been looking forward to this for ages and it's such a let down.

Also that Megadeth + Scabbia remake of A tout le monde is shit.
