Not only have you managed to run off one of the top basketball coaches in the history of the university, Mr. James Green, you managed to hire a sleezebag who fucks around with co-eds at frat parties and manages to get off scott-free. (See: Larry Eustachy, formerly of Iowa State)
As if ruining the sports programs weren't enough, with weakening the football team's schedule to that of a joke in the next few years, you just had to ruin the lives of thousands of students at the university. USM is NOW on probation because of YOUR lackluster "efforts" to "improve" quality at USM.
Before this fucking dickhead got voted in as president a few years back, the Journalism department was already in trouble of losing its accredidation. Now, current-day, the English dept. is on the brink of collapse, and the rest of the university has like 9 months I think, or even LESS, to get its act together before all state funding is cut outright. And here my parents moved here 6 years ago with this as a "close-by university option." When a spelling bee award is more official than a degree from a university, there's a HUGE problem.
Now, I'm a junior... and I don't really have anywhere to go to school. Ain't this a bitch. Perhaps I'll eventually end up moving out of state, but with my 2 main areas of interest cut down, and with the University looking to be sinking more and more... I really have no idea which dirrection my life will take me. I'd rather not be a career cook, but... if I have to....
