Unreal Tournament 3 demo

how does it stackup to the original?
 
Just like Epic was saying, it does feel more like the original UT. There are some graphic issues with the demo, however, and it almost looks "ugly" while looking cool at the same time.
 
Not impressed by the demo. Hoping its just because... its a demo. Looks rediculously average. How they hyped this and all the bullshots they tossed out there i am expecting more. I wont down what it turns out to be by release tho. Also since gameplay is what matters more, again its just regular lol.
 
Haven't been able to d/l the CoD4 or UT3 demos, keep getting fucked over mid download. My PC thirsts for them though, wanna test out how it runs UT3 because if it's as awesome as I'm hoping... I'm gonna get PC + PS3 version both.
 
Its a beta demo, no high res textures and missing other effects as well. Plays more like ut04 than ut. Looks good, but plays the same as the 2 previous games. Too many invisible walls, old weapons after nearly 10yrs are kinda Zzzz, runs very well.
 
There anyway to get the demo without becoming a member @ Fileplanet?
 
I don't like how slow the flak cannon secondary is now, it just seemed off. Then again it could just be me since i haven't played UT in ever.
 
Yes, try torrents or mirror sites. You need an account (gamespy/fileplanet or ign) anyway just to play. You have to log in once the game starts unless someone by has passed that ...
 
played it, wasn't impressed at all. and by not being impressed i mean the quality of the beta. i found alot of jaggeds, invisible walls, etc. (we've all heard it before) however, the overall game looks like its going to be a very rewarding experience. we ALL know UT3 is gonna rock hard, and im definately getting it for PS3 and probably PC. see you all online ;)
 
I can't get enough of the YouTube Fragtages. This game is gonna kill. I dunno how I'm goin' to live with it bein' out, on a console, and not able to pwn it up. The wait is goin' to suck.
