Well im gettin right to the point. I get an invite for this to replace so I take it drk,thf,drg,pld,brd,whm (me) yadda yadda yadda. Now my spacebar on my keyboard at home is broken so I didnt really say much but hi for the first 10 min or so.

Im resting my mp suddenly I see drk WS and drop to about 650-700 hp and take a couple more hits down to 300hp. I accidently double clicked rest button so needless to say the drk Lushang died. I raise and just say "dont.pull.hate" " "these.dont.aoe" hoping he would get what I mean.... Well he didnt I didnt wanna do a bunch of extra typing because my lack of spacebar. He took it as me being a smartass while I really meant is that "you can fight while weakened because these dont do aoes just dont pull hate" but with no spacebar some ppl will understand that thats alot of periods.

After that I ask him to please attach a /p to his souleater macro so I can get up ahead of time rdy to heal, this because I have to keep my volume down and its easy to miss the one line that says "lushang reads Souleater". Next fight I curaga right away because i know provoke + flash = more hate than curaga still but the tank didnt get up right away. Then Lushang says "Dont pull hate whm" giving me a attitude. I ask why the attitude he talks about my "dont.pull.hate" comment. I try to explain what I really meant and his like "Im done talking to you" so I proceed to disband and warp mob was almost dead and brd had full mp.

Another thing is when you see ppl typing (..like..this..) why do you flipout on them for typing like that. You think ppl like typing like that enough todo it constantly on propose. Of freakin course im having spacbar problems other wise id be typing like I am now.
 
just ignore them, sometime you have to tell them your spacebar isn't working well, they may understand
 
theres no heal button but just ignore jackass drks who dont know what to do.

Im ok buits sorta annoying ppl cant figure that out from the jump im typing with periods and I still have to tell them my spacebar is broken. Kinda makes me lose faith is humanity sometimes. Also I just stay quiet most of the time only talk when needed but makes it difficult when ppl are being difficult to talk to.
 
Maybe you should have just said myspacebarisbrokenso.i.type.like.this to begin with.

I know if somebody said blm.nuke.the.mob i'd be having wtf issues of my own.
 
i've seen plenty of idiots type with dots and have fully functioning space bars.
 
You warped on the party because of that? Seriously?

You saying dont pull hate right after he died is obviously misleading, why not stop being a lazy ass, type what you meant, and not go all emo cause the drk got the wrong message? Instead you went all emo and warped? Weak.
 
Red I know the pt you were talking about cause the BRD was my friend. You shouldnt of warped.

Heres a thought, buy a new fucking keyboard. They cost like 10 bucks for a cheap one.

I agree the drk shouldn't ahve been a bitch and complained about the way you typed, but seriously, are you that broke you can't afford a new keyboard.

This is a MMORPG after all, typing is kind of important. :crazy:
 
What if the spacebar stopped working that night, and he didn't have time to run to the store and buy another one, or the store was closed? I've had my controlled die on me when I was in a party, and stores were all closed, so I couldn't just run out and get a new one. Sometimes you gotta deal with what you have, and I don't think a broken spacebar should hinder anyone from playing, especially with autotranslation.

He makes it clear, in the first paragraph of the OP, that is spacebar is already broken. Nothing was mentioned about it breaking that night. Nice try though.
 
He never said when it was broken, but I more or less meant in a general statement. I didn't come here to defend his flame.

I kinda played for two months without a keyboard. Didnt hinder me in the slightest. Typing isnt at all important. Just because you think it is doesnt make it so. Perhaps our keyboard-less friend here cant currently afford a new keyboard. Are you privvy to his fiscal situation? Have you insider trading none of us know of? I dont have ten bucks to spare right now, not until friday. Maybe he lives paycheck-to-paycheck, like I do, and his keyboard just recently decided to crap out on him. Being that he lives paycheck-to-paycheck, he might simply not have the sufficient funds to rush out and buy a keyboard. Suffice it to say, typing is not the end all, be all to an MMO.

I'll admit it can hold some importance, but like I said, I went two months without one without any real hitch. Making macros took me a little longer than usual, but other than that, it was no different. Short, one-word answers do the trick, and lack of talking in PT's makes it even better.

Regardless; theres no reason to come off with such an attitude. "Buy a new fucking keyboard or are you too broke" could've just as easily been written as "Maybe you should get a new keyboard". That would've saved some of your precious obscenities and made your point look a little more valid; as it would be a suggestion instead of some snide remark.

Sure, this is the flameboard, but does that really warrant such hostilities?
