Up and Coming Blackmage

So I've read alot of threads and topics and guides and I would love to have a full set of Yigit, and Wizard +1.

But what I want to know is the step before that gear I mean I farming and collecting to get Ig gear, and in a Dynamis for Relic but what is the best mediocre gear to get started for equip swap.

Right now I am just running with RSE Elvaan, and just upgraded Red Cape +1, Pilgrim Wand, NQ Staffs, Moldy earring, Morion Earring, Knowledge Rings, and other little stuff. If there are things I am missing or can use till I get the pimp of pimp blm gear what are they and what are there uses.

Please lets not get into Int/Macc or Refresh/Hmp bickering I will take them all and I will have a million macros I don't care lol. I've been reading at work in the forums cause this is the only one that is not blocked for sometime. I just recently decided to register and start typing so thanks for having such a great site for information.

Save the RSE boots and Rainbow cape, this was my nuking set when I was exping BLM. It's cheap (and in a lot of cases, free as in cost), and extremely effective.

well, i saw he was elvaan, and elvaan rse2 is +3 int and 30 mp, so they are very good for AH gear. And rainbow cape is same as redcape +1 only with 9 hp and mp and 1/3 of the price.

dont forget that Aquillo's staff is very affordable these days, it floats at roughly 120k, next is HQ water, the name escapes me at the moment, which sits around 340k and the rest are around 600.

When you get to 75 do lots of nyzul. The goliard boots are very multifunctional nuking/hmp/enfeeble/stoneskin, the legs provide a bit of -dmg for that set, the hands are excellent for nuking/dark magic set/enfeebling, the body is useful for drain/aspir, the head is functional as a HMP/stoneskin piece. Some of the pieces are replaceable of course by better stuff but it's a great place to start.

Yigit is pretty uneccessary since all sorts of znm/nyzul hmp gear came out, get the feet if you really care but goliard will suffice.

Kirins pole is so cheap nowadays so get one for your stoneskin.

Those Vicious mufflers are simple to get and can last till you upgrade.

When you get to the point that you want to upgrade AF+1. You can solo the apollyon NW NM on floor 1 for you blm piece there and Temenos East Floor 1, Floor 2 for your piece there.

I think that's all I can think of for cheap/easy/good for right now. GL on your leveling

HQ Ice > HQ Dark > HQ Thun/Wind > Doesnt matter for the rest. Keep your enfeebling capped as you are leveling, you will see a big difference with HQ Dark/wind for sleeps and gravs which will be all so important always. Doing a descent amount of soloing on your way up to 75 will help you learn some of the basics for tougher solos later.

I'm doing the full Cobra gear please or please dont turn this into Mab vs Int blah blah blah I don't have time for Salvage, Eij, or even sky I want a effect pieces for a cheap price I have the allied notes and Mab on all the gear with the mp conserve with the set bonus really isn't that bad I still want the expensive pieces but they are just not within my grasp I just obtained the Shaman's Coat and all the NQ staff and I'm working on the other stuff but seriously the Cobra set really isn't that bad . . . .is it?

If you don't have time for endgame activities, the only pieces I'd bother getting would be hands and feet. Head, body, legs all have better replacements (AF head/Demons Helm, weskit, errant slops)
