lol. was just seeing what was new in Vana'diel. Hi to all my friends in UC and elsewhere, been missing ffxi recently.



At the following time, we performed a version update of FINAL FANTASY XI.

We have received numerous reports where a player charmed by Notorious Monster "Pallas" was being attacked by other players in the area for the purpose to steal the claim. This issue was causing conflicts among the players. As a temporary solution, the following update was performed.

But... But, Pallas is a beastmaster.... Charm is what beastmasters do.

God is SE retarded?
 
Maybe this stems from the reports of gilsellers "camping" pallas after the update and either stealing the NM as it popped or killing the player once charmed that I heard of on BG,KI ect?
 
I solo'd Pallas five times before this patch...RMT left me alone each time.

The only problems I saw, where people would kill a charmed player; was with legitimate cry baby players PKing others. I believe Evildeadhead was the player who I returned bracelets to, after he lost claim from being PK'd or Charmed. (I can't remember exactly)

Overall, what a joke. SE yet again favoring the cry babies.

lol evil helped me with a few pops, died to my counters (and a asuran fist cuz i felt like it the second time lol)
 
i killed gilsellers any chance possible since they were popping him nonstop.

oh well sad days :( cant kill RMT now as easy.

There was nothing about this when I logged on this morning. Nothing on playonline.

Something smells fishy...
 
I was bazzaring all night and had a few messages when I logged on. The were all about mat. to the tower.
 
Just read my Sig. That kill was about a year ago.

While were at it, lets make all mobs just not attack anymore, that way you can't lose claims. And take away any type of NM MPKing too. Oh and take away all weapons and armor, because you no longer need it.

SE's solution to problems is apparently to just make them disappear. Good Job guys, you are dulling your game even more than it already is...
 
So they can investigate people whining about dying due to being charmed [x] NM but they STILL don't pick up anything suspicious about the guys popping these NMs 24/7? Way to raise the bar, SE.
 
I was checking the same topic on bg and apparently the only people being killed when charmed at pallas were rmt.
SE needs to get thier priorities straight.
 
Wow, worst solution to a non-existant problem ever. RMT are slowly fucking the entire game up, like ruining fishing for legit players wasn't bad enough.
