hmm that could actually work very well vs AV rappa since the main melee dmg vs AV tends to be souleater drk from what i've haerd while learning about AV. tht drk wouldhave to curebombed like mad though.

I wish they hadn't added that /blockaid update. That gives less room for gilsellers to get thier claims stolen from then.(players normally remember to add it back on especially vs gilsellers that have most of thier force bottting)

The way I see it, anything they do to change the method to obtaining the kraken will make it more common. The only thing that would not is putting it on a NM that's 21-24 or worse which would ultimately void the point in changing the conditions. BCNM, Salvaged, etc. can only make it more common since those methods are basically limitless. BCNMs are limited only by seals which can be constantly farmed/obtained, Salvaged can be done by any groups daily, etc. Basically any method can be spammed by the player base and I am betting the Kraken will be slightly less common than a PCC is now.

Does this mean melee WHM will be more common and accepted? :wink:

Don't you have to pay an Imp Silver(or mythril) piece to even get into the Alzaadal Ruins? Maybe just talk to guard with key item to get access to Alzaadal w/o having to pay the coinage so you can get to the Remnant area. I don't know.

Welll ummm, you need acc gear if you looking to get a hit and for that you'll be giving up around 200-300mp to melee

Ohat, 2 Sniper Ring, 1 PCC, + other ACC gear
Ohat replace with 55MP hairpin ot 50mp zenith crown, Serket Ring and Ether Ring = 50+30 = 70 mp lost, U.pendent 20mp lost.
So.. thats 55+50+30+20 = 155MP lost and subbing NIN so you can at least got some decent damage from your main well

I say WHM melee still isn't good idea for exping, or any dangours event that involves in groups

I'm not quite seeing the benefit to feeding TP to Dynamis mobs while doing a relatively low amount of damage ...

Well, if your shell never has any people dying or anything even so, I guess it can't hurt. I'm not in your shell, so no idea what the typical death/wipe rate is.

whm/nin can put out some pretty decent damage when you're just goofing around solo. If I put on a bunch of my drk gear (pcc, flame/rajas, etc) and load up on +haste gear (w.turban, blessed stuff), and keep myself hasted I attack pretty fast and do some good hexa strikes. Would never do it in a pt but it's fun for messing around. I have rev mail too but I rarely use it for anything I'm whm/nin meleeing.
