Update problems already!

Yeah, I don't think I could keep leveling bard without it, all I get are pld parties. It's great for whm too, I can stand out of the way of AoE and be just within spell range.

It's impressive to see someone actually takes the time to write plugins that do such things. I doubt I will actually use any, but thank you for the heads-up, Kurgon.

Seeing as how I play as a WHM, that's what made me wonder about it.

Don't worry, the cameras are recording but no one is watching. As long as you don't go shouting it in jeuno you should be fine. Even if gms did notice something, you would only get a warning. Only heard of that happening one time and they didn't even get a warning.
 
Well... Since last update, i keep getting a "Microsoft Critical Error", the POL has encountered a problem and needs to close, etc... Right when i get to the page where you can click on PLAY (doesn't even show up).
This happens weather i use the windower or not, and happens both on my Desktop PC and Laptop.

So i'm pretty much fucked, since i can see no way arround this...

Any light anyone?

I'm getting a very similar thing Dejan. I'm getting a "Program Error" window that says "pol.exe has generated errors and will be closed by Windows. You will need to restart the program. An error log is being created." This happens *right* when I start getting the dings of friends that are online after the message check.

Well, I've tried restarting several times and its the same thing, I also can't find this error log that Windows says it's creating anywhere. I checked all my files and it came up with nothing, all files are good. I'm going to hit up Allakhazam and see if anyone there's having similar problems.
 
Everyone on Alla is having the same problems lol. I hate this, I knew the update being completed on time was a bad omen.
 
Yep, lots of people on Alla having this issue, looks like it's something on SE's end too so reinstalling PoL/FFXI won't do a thing. We'll just have to wait for a fix.

Mines doing that crap right now as well, I logged to an alternate account mule stuff and it started happening. =\

I'm running windows xp and so are my roommates.. they get the same message.
 
This is what I'm getting, using Win2k

Last night after the patch, I got in just fine.

Then I installed Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic II and played that for a while. When I went to start Play Online again, I got the exact same thing everyone else is getting, error when friends list pops up. I thought it had something to do with KotORII. I'm glad it didn't, that game looks badassed.

But personally, I think it's an issue with playonline. The reason being, I didn't have to go through that step where your friends list comes after I downloaded the Patch. I was already that far into the game and it doesn't make you restart after the patch.
 
I'm getting this error on two computers.... This is SOOO bloody stupid. If I knew this would happen, I would have stayed up last night to exp instead of this morning...

Good to know its nothing wrong I'm doing.
