Update

[Tyrisian]

so any bets on ho wlong the update will actually take and how long before we can actually make it into the game?

16 hours for update: scheduled

22 hours for actual update: my guess

14-18 more hours: for kinks to work out and bandwidth pick up eneough for us to get in?

any other thoughts?

[scrumpy]

Well it's not my day off so they'll probably end it earlier rather than later cuz that's just my luck! Hehe when does the update begin? In the morning or in the afternoon?

BTW- Great tanking last night Tyrisian, sorry i had to leave so abruptly... the gf came to collect me :?

[Angof]

I wish it was tomarrow instead of Monday since on Monday I have nothing to do and tomarrow I am traveling so at least SOME of the time woud be killed. Actualy time until everyone can get back on? I predict it wont be possible until wensday sometime. but most people should be on by tuesday night hopefully. Lets hope I m wrong and everything works out well so we can all be on tueday morning if we wanna be ^.^

The update isn't 16 hours. That's how long it will take them to do maintenance on the servers so the updates work when you login to FFXI and fix other errors on the servers.

That's the update info for size and estimated download and install time.

Everything above the vanadiel clock is what we know about it

[ghaleon]

so it looks like the only thing that is long is the server maintenance.

after that the actual download we all have to do i guess is not that long. unless i am reading it wrong on the SE website

[Koutetsu]

due to my new job and some conflicts, i will have to wait a week to play FFXI again...

Heh, thanks for the perspective change... :?

lucky for me I DO have an outside life, however when I WANT to play a game I enjoy, pay money monthly for, and have worked hard and getting somewhere in, I don't like be not allowed to play because of someone elses decision.....
