Sculli, I like how you have the whole premium membership setup. I was just wondering......what if someone become a Jr. member and decides to become a Senior member down the road? I thought it would be a great idea to set up a way for ppl to "upgrade" the premium membership status, that way they dont have to pay the full amount for Senior status since they already paid for Jr. . I already know of one person who is in this prediciment already.

If this is already possible and I just totally missed something, then just shoot me. ;)

With a BB gun though......not a real gun. :P

Unfortunately there is no easy way to do this, as upgrades would have to be pro-rated to account for the same expiration date as the original contribution. I can check into whether someone wrote a mod to do this kind of thing. In the meantime I would probably just handle such cases manually on a case by case basis (i.e. get the paypal, upgrade the membership manually).

@Isotope
Not a whole lot! ;)
No more banner ads, colored user name, change your user title, store 500 PMs for Jr. and 1000 PMs for Sr., and display a custom user bar (much like the nation bars).

Here is what I wrote about it elsewhere:

Generally speaking the premium memberships are for those folks who feel strongly about QCDN, and who see the subscription amount in relation to other expenses they have in their life, rather than comparing it to the premium cost of other boards.

I guess what I am saying is that QCDN is free to use, the premium membership doesn't nearly offer the benefits some other sites offer their premium members (i.e. Alla's equipment page), and I will certainly not think less of people who do not subscribe. I do appreciate every subscription, and the cash will be put to good use (new style, more contests, etc).

Prolly already answered this as well, but I can't find it...

How much is it for a Jr. Membership and a Sr. one? If i knew I might be able to contribute^^

Sweet, ty Sculli, I get paid soon again, gotta go get my final paycheck, and I'll have an extra 25$ laying around, I might toss it your way :p
