Arabs hate us because they're evil, and they know we're good. Dan Rather said so himself, shortly after 9-11. Took about 2 months before I even saw mention of Israel after 9-11...

arabs hate the usa because they want nothing more than to take over isreal and usa wont let them. and then they make us out to be the bad guys much like you are doing right now.

in war there will be civilans killed. the arabs should know that all to well as civilans seem to be a target for them.

Arabs wanna take over israel because the entire nation of Israel was caused by the jewish people suddenly deciding they wanna make jerusalem and the surrounding areas a country of thier own and therefore made war with the people of the area. If a bunch of canadians/indians/vikings took over new york and named it the country of big apple which got recognized as a country so any act to reclaim it was an "unjust act of war" wouldn't you be angry and want it back?
The arabs are rightfully angry but their methods are unjust.(the ones that apparently dont get shot down because of beuracracy)
Israel controls areas outside its own borders and unjustly shoots random houses. Both sides arent rays of moral sunshine atm however something as simple as agrreing killing random people is bad getting vetoed is just plain stupid. The countries most affected by this outside of israel basically said killing innocents is wrong we should'nt have either side doing that.

This was simply a censure of both sides for violent acts, it wasn't a proposal for real action against Israel. This was a bill for the UN to formally say "We don't condone the actions taken by Israel or Palestine shooting at targets in civilian neighborhoods with long range, low accuracy weapons."

Peace talks will continue to stall as long as violence continues, and we've basically come out and said we don't give a damn about peace in the middle east. So long as Israel is at war with Arabs, there will be no stability in the middle east, and we've just refused to let the UN take a step towards peace.

so how many time did the US use the power of veto to support Israel ?

and you guys wonder why the arabs world hate NA

Because we, more often than not, support Israel, a people that have been good to us?

Yeah that's just fucking odd. Maybe we should support the Arabs more often than not. I wonder where that would get us...And Israel.

In times of conflict, you side with your friends unless they are totally out of line. At this point with these types of conflicts, who is to even say? So much bullshit.

I think it's US policy to side with Israel no matter what the dispute. It's this undying support that I think helps fuel the fire between Israel and everyone else.
Not to sound like everyone else, but I think the Arabs are mad with Israel because it exsists :/

Thats because they are. Israel was formed by jewish people invading the aera and making war with the arabs. They do however know that after 50+ years of being pissed off at em the jewish people arent about to leave and as such want to at least cut down the amount of peole dying. KNow what would really make the usa change thier mind? Stop sending oil to the usa for a few weeks and USA would get in line.

personally I think the way veto works is stupid.

.......invaded? what are you talking about?

The Israel region has always been a place where Jewish groups immigrated too, not invaded. World War II only increased the number of Jewish settlers substantionally because of the growing Nazism. This led to the enventual closing of immigration from Europe but with more people coming in did the anti-Semitism really start to get heated. The forming of Israel was supposed to keep both sides happy, but things did not go as planned.

the people who claim they have right to the country were never invaded and they nvr owned the land in the first place infact they nvr owned any land. it wasnt until israel won the brief war in 1967 that they claimed they had any right to the land.

The other countries in the world gave them their land. They didn't have it originally. That's the key point.

It isn't their land. They were given it, but not by the country which they occupied.

However, to be fair, Israel didn't take the country. They were given it by other countries, so Israel isn't really to blame.

jews have claim to the country long before it was given back to them in ww2.

wrong wrong wrong, please research the subject prior to spouting off. The jewish state of Israel was basically formed post WW2 by displaced jews, it was the allies that introduced them as a state and in general to the area and the un that divided the area.

To say israel is all jews is just innaccurate as there are arabs who are citizens too. As soon as Israel was established, most of the middle east attcked them and they successfully defended and even gained land in said conflicts. The only reason Israel had a defense force was because the hostility of it's neighbors.

To say a bunch of jews invaded and started attacking everyone is the most inaccurate thing you can possibly say

Israel also occupies a relatively tiny portion in land mass of the middle east. It's the only jewish state and in the middle east there are 22 arabic states. The war they were involved in was them being attacked. As well all attacks they have made towards their neighbors were retaliations, although anti-semetism allows those facts to be distorted and emphasis placed on Israel's actions.

Peace won't be had until Israel's neighbor's realize they're not going anywhere, and hopefully that will happen with the next generation of arabs.

well i dont think peace going to happn even in the 4th generation .. just too much hate

Most of the trigger pullers behind the attacks on Israel are Palestinian but they're usually planned and funded by Egyptians who couldn't respect Palestine less and care less about dead Palestinians that result from perpetuating violence. Really what needs to happen is that Palaestinians have to start giving a shit about their own country and stop letting themselves be the lackey's of the Arab world.
