So, today I went on a KSNM30 with 6 of my bst friends and ended up walking out with a V.Claw and an O.Ingot. Badass! What a great feeling.

Waited until 3am for my 100 bonecraft friend to synth my harness

Gave him the materials...

Had a fuckin blast, but I've never lost 15M so quickly...... All I can say is OMFG...

Not sure if this belongs under good times or what. lol. Had a great time, but I'm sure I'm going to be pissed about this tomorrow.

I broke a Hktk Cluster for someone after a friend referred them. Believe me, the crafter feels just as bad ;_;

I felt absolutely horrible about the break ;_;
(Yes, I can and have successfully synthed Hktk -see sig)

Edit: Everyone wants a chance at the HQ but is always disappointed when it breaks, I just have to laugh to that!! I am on number 8 break myself, it happens.

Well, the linkshell member was going to give me the HQ, which he had a good chance of making being that he was 100+2+3. I'm sure next time I get a V.Claw I'll gladly give it to him again.

Who wouldn't be dissapointed to see 15M evaporate in front of their face? The funny thing is I don't even really need this as I prefer my Hauberk for my bst. Just thought I'd get one for that +10eva for farming and looks. Oh well. I've got 300 kindred seals left. I can always get another one.

That also happend too me. I had a friend try to make me a cluster he is lvl 100 Alchemy and failed. He felt so bad he helped me farm 2 of the 5 eyes.

Well, you obviosuly don't know much about crafting (or the Scorpion Harness synth in particular i should say). As 100 + 2 + 3 means jack sh*t if his Leathercraft is only 60. Sorry but you just took the risk on a tier 1 (10% hq, 10% break) when if you knew what you were doing you could synth this tier 2 (25% hq, 5% (or less even?) break)).

Anyway, I was of the understanding that you can only have one craft at 100(+2+3) and the maximum of each of the sub-crafts can only be 60. Am I reading you wrong?

You need to be 31+ above in each craft to be in HQ2 tier. Scorpion Harness required crafts are Bonecraft 69 and Leathercraft 35. So in order to get into HQ2 you need Bonecraft 100 and Leathercraft 66. Thus when you craft, you want to have +leathercraft gear and leathercraft enhancement rather than piling it all on bonecraft (which doesn't help if you're 100).

in other words you need to beef up leathercraft with sinth support or wear leather craft items. you might be capped at 60 but you can add +skills to help. when crafting it always takes the lowest tier, so you could be lvl 6 leather and 100 bone trying to craft a

20bone/1lc and still not break tier one which means you have just as much of a chance hqing that as someone that is 20bone/1lc

Alchemy 95. I know a bit about crafting. Reason I got pissed is because I was talked down to. But what you guys said about the subcraft is news to me, so thanks. Always learning.

Sorry if i came off rude Pakomen, that's not me at all.. i am simply saying you shouldn't be risking 15mil gil if you don't know anything about the synth. I know i wouldn't.

As for the sub cap, it's actually 33 Rappa. It has been tested by someone..

It was to my understanding that this was common knowledge, especially to bonecrafters and if your friend never took the appropriate steps to make sure his leathercraft was the appropriate level then.. well i don't know what to say. As the scorpion Harness is the bread n' butter of Bonecrafting. Tier 2 is godly..

Maybe it's just me.. i don't know. Crafting is my game.

And anyway, I got cash to burn already otherwise I would have sold this on the spot. I already got my hauberk and a bunch of other great melle gear that my bst really doesn't need so I though "What the hell, I might as well get a pretty new S.H."...
