TV "V" Relaunch

[Halifirien]

I was 9 or 10 years old when the original "V" miniseries aired on NBC, and I loved every second of it. I even made my parents record it on our ancient top-loading VCR with a "remote" that had a cord running to the machine.

I wasn't as thrilled by V: The Final Battle -- fuck the Star Child and her magic, although Michael Ironside was awesome -- and couldn't get into the series that followed, but I collected the DC comics.

Having said all that, I'm excited by the trailer for the re-imagined V series on ABC. Anyone else interested?

I wonder if they'll go after the scientists again. We still have problems accepting scientific realities in this country, so it's not hard to imagine them being a scapegoat again.

I loved the original tv show, I hope this follows in the footsteps of BSG.

Wow, nice find! When is this going to happen?

[Jereme]

It is a mid-season show so not until after January.

The first mini series was great, the final conflict got silly towards the end and the short-lived tv series better left dead lol.

It was a good concept though so I'll watch a re-done version to see how it does.
