It was really funny though. My mom and my sister had the weirdest looks on their faces and my brother-in-law (raised Polish Catholic and went to Catholic school, whole 9 yards) laughed his ass off.

Not only is this thread severely misplaced but its probably the dumbest ever. I remember not THAT long ago we had a little clique of derailers and we all know how well that went with everyone. But hey, lets encourage more of it. In fact, lets help the fact this thread is in the FB.

Is there seriously so little going on in this server that we need this stupid second lolpictures thread here? Go to fan works or lounge, Deja. What the fuck happened to the FB? We have this, we have a thread with "hay, blazeoffury is ghey!" We have "Waahhh, I don't like how people play in campaign." "Wtf, I can't see my mog house." Stupid ass Darby with his "Farming Diorite sucks!" Shit, lets start another flame on Precise too because thats just as much fun as flaming Hellstorm anymore.

Am I the only one that thinks Westyle isn't funny anymore? Am I the only one that laughs at someone naming themselves "QCDN's biggest asshole?" Nicknames only work when you don't give them to yourself. There's way too many of the right people quitting the game when the best anyone can do are threads like these.

For one, Wes was never really funny. At least not consistantly. His posts are typically disregarded by me because the content is worthless.

Secondly, if you're looking for 'content' make your own fucking flame. God knows you complain enough to. Go have some coffee.

I don't care that much about content in certain forums. The fact there's a whole page of flames here with so few inbetween that have actual flameworthy things is stupid. The fact that there are threads in the flameboard that aren't even flames is stupid.

Maybe people don't create flames because every time they do, if its not up to par for people they get shot down and their problems deemed worthless because they didn't 'fit the standard'. A lot of people don't put thought into that shit because they don't spend 90% of their time bitching about things.

Do you think, that after getting shot down like that one or more times that people are going to come here and post just to give you something to read? I agree, this thread is dumb. Do I care? No, not really. Did I post in it? Yeah, yeah I did. It doesn't belong here at all, it was made as a joke, just like that stupid thread KB made and anything Darby posts in. But you fixed it. You turned this into something worthy of being on the flame board, we're arguing.

While expectations for certain things is good, I think some of our Flameboard expectations are a little too high. Not everyone is going to be able to put together a flame like Rappa can. Just because their presentation isn't 'up to par' doesn't mean that their problems are any less significant than the next or worth less just because someone can say 'Well that happened to me but it was way worse so shut up'.

The bigger problem, and forgive me if I'm being far too Utopian here, is a community refusing to acknowledge issues its members are having simply because they're not 'juicy' enough. Yeah, there a shit-ton of non-content flames and pointless threads in this forum, but there's a lot of them that have merit even if they're not well constructed. What happens to them? Oh its just that one thread where someone derailed it into a completely different argument. THEN it got interesting. It's probably just me seeing this or giving even a smidge of a damn about it. Evs.
