Wow decided to party out in Cape Terrigan today so we get there and it only takes 2 fights before the PLd throws a hissy fit and leaves. I normally am very flexible as to what songs ppl want on them...like the blm (Kyora) wanted Ballad and Etude...so cool :) i gave the whm (Tiena) double ballad. Well the pld (Vahnhalen) wanted ballad..i understand that but you have to have positioning right so I can still hit everyone else. So in the middle of battle while he is standing between the thf/nin (Marick) and the rng/nin (Altima) he wants the songs of Army Paeon and Ballad. I told him no, and that if he wanted it he can position himself correctly to which he said "I QIUT" here is how the conversation kept going

(Vahnhalen) UR A BARD
(Bupu) really?
(Vahnhalen) FIND A NEW PLD
(Kyora) ???
(Marick) if you are really wanting ballad you should be closer to the mages
Vahnhalen uses a scroll of Instant Warp

Then everyone called him a noob and he replied with
(Vahnhalen) I BEEN PLAYING WAY TO LONG

Then Kyora booted him.

5 min later he messaged Kyora apologizing...and wanting back in the group

Ugh I feel bad for anyone partying with him
 
And that right there is why I do not level. People acting like spoiled children because there Job is in high demand.
 
It really pisses me off when you don't tell me about these people in game Bupu...I would have liked to have a talk with that fucking pussy about this behavior....Im going to invite him to Terrigan one day then and have him travel all that way, when I have a full party already ^^

The funny part is that I see a few Pld LFG, you NEVER see a Brd LFG. That stuff pisses me off too. I got in a party last week. Im sitting there crafting for gil. Someone practically BEGS me to join their group. I tell them ok, let them know I am crafting and to send me a /tell when the group is assembled and I will warp to jeuno. 10 min later he tells me everyone is there, and can I please come to jeuno.
I warp and send a tell letting him know I am there. I get the invite and ther are TWO people there! The others are still getting eq off of mules and traveling etc. 20 minutes later, we head for the cape for cocks (not those cocks, havoc! ) and start pulling. Fifteen minutes in, the leader (who invited me) says that his LS is doing PLANNED BCNM runs and he needed a warp. After some more talk, I warped everyone else and myself and left him to walk.

That's ok Al... everyone knows, you LOVE the cocks. I am at the point where I only party when LS mates make up the majority of the group.

People need to get off of thier high horse and get with it! It's all about team work, no one job is better than the rest....well maybe...no no I won't get into that. TEAM WORK PEOPLE!!!
 
all plds...well i take that back..most plds know that if there is a brd in party, to get mp regen(ballad 1&2) you go back to where the mages are when the brd is doing the songs...its that easy. people need to learn to stop being so damn lazy and whiney about everything. the brd shouldnt have to be at each beckoning call. the brd has only 2 areas of the battlefield to cast at and that is the mage area and the fighters area.
 
Hehe sorry Vang I will next time I come across someline like him! Also to update that 15 min later Vahn messaged me saying "I should have stayed around to work things out with you." Um I didn't even justify that /tell with a responce cause all he was saying was "I can't find another party plz let me back in"

And Devi it was nice seeing u today ^^
 
You can give pld mage's ballad mid fight though if he wants it without messing up the other melee.

Basic setup our sunday sidejob static does and allowing me to cast ballad on mages and pld midfight.

If a pld doesn't understand this or isn't willing to learn, then why get a bard and complain? Lucky for me we're all LS and advice is encouraged.
 
Last night we had a similar LS convo about a blm in somebody's party. First battle, the guy suddenly just dropped and started resting in the middle of a battle without warning (yes, he had plenty of MP). When they asked him not to rest in the middle of a fight for no reason, he had a fit and warped out. The party was 50+ btw so it wasn't as if this was a dunes/qufim/jungle pt. Honestly, i can say I'm really beginning to despise people in this game. My patience for stupidity and ignorance has dropped drastically in the past few months. When I tried to /tell this guy (can't remember his name but it began with an O i think) he was away. Damn, this sounds vaguely familiar.

one thing that can be done, if ballad is wanted mid fight, the plds can face away from the mages so he is closer to the brd than anyone else.
 
Yep and I am not opposed to ballad mid fight at all ^^ I'll do anything to help out a party as long as ppl cooperate and are civil about it. I know I am there for support...so that is what I do
