Was lvling PLD this morning. Don't particularly care about PLD, not that I do the job poorly because of that, I know the other people in the PT are serious about lvling if I'm not. I got invited to a PT with another PLD and no mage at all. They say, Ok you're going to be the main healer XD. So I was like, HAHAHA, that's a new one, . . . . . . . sure why not. Didn't work out too well of course, as you can imagine, but it was funny to see cute lil n00blings struggle. The Thf also had WHM subbed but he had like 28 MP so that wasn't much help. I'm surpirsed the other PLD didn't leave after the second or third death due to there not being enough healing between the three of us. PT leader ended up leaving and gave me leader, got a very good WHM that had played RDM to 60-something so he knew his stuff about healing. Didn't quite technically lvl cause I de-lvled to 11 and got back up to about the exact same that i was before the pt. Went well once we got the Mage and everyone was happy, I just found it hilarious that I got invited as a PLD to be the main healer of a PT hahahaha.

Taru pld at lvl 10 with 2 astrals can pull it off. I remember being main healer in dunes as brd/whm for most of my time through there. Could have been better, but by dune standards it was ok.

I also got this request as a pld in the dunes (I passed on that one)...I did end up main healing as blm in Quifm at level 19...actually was awesome because we had two nins and I don't think I tossed out more than a couple of cures the whole time.

AS bad as this sounds, I ended up being the main healer in a level 47 party a while ago.
The main tank was another Paladin. Other than that, we had a DRK, BLM, a BRD, and a DRG. It was exciting to say the least, and we didn't do all that bad really.
With all my equipment and food and extras, I ended up with 300 some MP... as a Hume level 47 PLD/WHM. Was it unorthadox? Absolutley. Was the XP slow? Meh, I've been in worse Parties. (That kinda says it all, eh?) But was it hella fun for all those involved? Damn straight it was. We even considered a static, but that went out the window once reality came back and we realized how silly it would be. :?
But I suppose the differences in MP and available spells makes that WHM sub more doable in the middle tier levels...
But at least I got to play WHM-light after level 25, something I've never done! :lol:

. But I dunno because you got a diffrent pt setup then I did when I had a pld healer (maybe you just cant remember and said some DD jobs?)
