Valkrum Dunes

I had a party getting about 7-8k per hour in the dunes, 2 lvls in one hour. Maybe the best xp rate of any lvl I've experienced with all my jobs.

-ninja,ninja sharing tanking, I was one of the ninjas, we took o damage minus goblin bombs sometimes.
-thf puller/DD
-Ls friend taking war up through as a 2nd job, used berserk and acted as a DD
-rdm
was either rdm of blm

We'd pull and the puller would go out to pull another 150-200xp crab/goblin within second of returning, we didn't even need the healers really, unless for goblin bomb. We had SC, good gear, the whole nine 9 yards. Constant chain 4-5s in the dunes without rest between chains ever!

For every bad party in the dunes I've had a decent one too, so I can't complain, I actually sometimes have liked it there.

I care but it's a bit of a sidetrack

Make a post about it and I'm sure people would come.
 
Aside from the dunes I also get wierd *looks* when I mention going to Altep or Quicksands other then going to Garlich and Crawler's nest.
 
okay well i took some advice that you guys gave me and try to find a Party in Maze of Shakrami but after 3 long hours is till couldnt find or form 1 :( how do windurst ppl lvl!!!!
 
hehe i levelled all my low level jobs in dunes and ocassionally got a PL from some friends i met in game. Thank you Syn and Conquerer :D
I always stay in dunes till i am lv.20 in any job, yeah i set my HP in selbina so when i die i don't have to come from sandoria or jeuno. lol
I just buy in advance updated equips and store them in my inventory. For the new ppl then it's different as you need to go back to nation to get new equips, signet and so on. Once you get the hang of it dunes isn't really that bad.

Note: You can get 3-4 Lvls per day in dunes as everyone there takes anyone regardless of jobs, gender or race. I levelled Whm in dunes and i was Whm/War (reason being i forgot to change subjob when i came eto selbina) and yes ppl did query why i have a war sub LOL but i did get from Lv.15~20 in just 2 days. :D
 
The only levels, and or fun ive had in this game have been in the dunes, tried to get a party in Jueno, no invites, riding chocobo half way to dunes i get a invite straight away, meh
 
I leveled twice yesterday but got burned by my party in the end because they brought the fight to our WHM and myself not far from a gob camp, so we really couldn't venture out that far. Plus the WHM seemed to be ignoring me and he was the only one with a subjob, so I'm not sure the melees had any idea how frail mages are. Two bombs and a good whack and I was gone...same for the WHM. Not surprisingly, everyone else died shortly thereafter.
