It's fun to see that main-job Beastmasters still only account for about 2% of the population. It sometimes seems like the game is stuffed with them (doubly so on Quetz, where our beloved Flock has such a great presence), so I like having little assurances that it's not and probably never will be a bandwagon job.
What exactly constitutes a main-job? I have 4 level 75 jobs, do each of those get considered into the calculation? Or is it the job I first hit 75 on? Or something completely different? The reason I ask is because this skews a lot of the results depending on how the actual census is taken.
True enough, and I wish they'd include more information about how they calculate the results. I consider myself BST-main, although I'm always WHM for the few endgame activities I'm in. Still, it looks like a very small number and my amusement is unaffected.

By what you posted I think they take all jobs lvl 75 into the census. Both of you have WHM at 75, that in turn reflect why WHM IS TEH NOMBER ONE JOBZ!!!111!!!! whooooo
ps. I think that job count is a lie because of the lack of healers/refreshers whenever you want to for a PT...
you forgetting the people that have already lvled those mage jobs and moved on.
...hello?
Is anyone else surprised that NIN/DRK or RDM/DRK isn't on the most popular job list yet? I understand these are mostly for end game, but you would think you see more of them appearing now with how awesome chain spell+stun is then how well a nin/drk gets hate. This just might be me though.
