The old thread crashed and burned, so let's try again. This thread is solely for interest, if you want to join, just post here saying you're interested. Once we get 16 people I will pass out roles and we can begin.
As before, I will be offering gil to the winning player(s.) The winning team will now get 75,000 gil split among the members, and the person I deem MVP will get an additional 25,000 gil.
And for reference, here are the rules from my old post, just to have them in one spot:
1) Have fun and don't be a jerk. Have respect both for other players and your mod, and try to post and vote and contribute to the game.
2) You may not communicate with other players outside the thread unless your role specifically allows you to - and if that is the case, you may only do so during Night.
3) Get your choices in before the deadlines I set (normally 48-72 hours.) The first non-choice will result in me picking a random choice for you. The second will result in no choice, and the third will probably just make me decide your character wanted to take a quick stroll to the top of Delkfutt's Tower. And jump off. So don't make me do that.
4) If you're dead - YOU ARE DEAD. You may not post relevant information after that. Don't ruin the game just because you died.
5) You may NOT quote any PMs I or other players send you in the main thread. No paraphrasing of winning conditions either. The only information you can share are things you have learned as a result of your job ability. You may also not PM anyone playing regarding the game unless your job allows it. Period.
6) Votes must be done in BOLD and must be done in this fashion:

7) If you wish to unvote, it must also be in BOLD and look thusly:
UNVOTE:Cubswoo
In either case, a vote not in bold will not be counted.
8) Once a regular majority is reached (50%+1,) lynching will take place. This cannot be undone by an unvote. In cases of a tie, the player who reached 50% first will be lynched. In the endgame (6 or fewer) only a real majority will result in a lynch.
9) You MAY NOT EDIT OR DELETE YOUR POSTS. If you made any spelling/coding/etc errors, simply post again. First violation of this is a warning, the second is a modkill. DO NOT TRY TO BEND THIS RULE. AT ALL.
10) Do not post in invisitext or text that must be highlighted to be read. This is just as serious a violation as #9.
11) Do not post during Night. I may try to get the thread locked during nights to facilitate this.
12) The mod is ALWAYS right. Accept my decisions, and if you wish to discuss them, take it to emails or wait until the game is over.
And now, some clarification and general hints:
1) Each game cycle begins with Night. Noone may post during Night. When Night falls, all players with Night decisions PM their choices to me. I will PM you back confirming you have sent your choice. When all choices have been made, we move to step 2.
2) I check the timestamps of every decision and determine the results of the choices.
3) Once I have determined the results of Night, I will announce the results of the previous Night and change the time to Day. At this point, I will also PM all living players with night decisions with their results.
4) During Day, all living players may post. I would strongly suggest to players not to immediately roleclaim, for many, many good reasons:
a) A common Mafia tactic is to roleclaim townie.
b) The Mafia already know who they are; roleclaiming just lets them know if they've got to handle you during Night or not.
c) Roleclaiming draws a lot of suspicion towards you. But so does lurking and laying low. For best results, be an active contribuitor to the game. Mostly because there will be an MVP award for the best player.
Players may also vote at any time during Day.
4) Once a majority is reached and the town has decided who to lynch, the game moves to Twilight. Noone may post during Twilight. This is simply time for me to write up the lynching and get Night ready. If you see a majority has been reached - you're too late. Don't post. I'm not going to be a real hardass about this, but if you keep violating it I will modkill you.
