Maybe if melee were'nt always so gimped and always so terrible at their always easy jobs I would'nt hate them so much. They bore me, they are ineffective, and I am never pleased with partying with 95% of them.

That is why I say 95% of the melee suck at easy melee jobs, and I am right.

I'm just curious, what are you defining as gimped? I'm just wondering because there's a wide range of beliefs on gimpness and I'm curious about yours.

Melees have the easiest jobs in the game, true, but I think the amount of good ones is higher than 5%.
 
Idk the first and only time I've ever had the "pleasure" of being around Vang, it was when I was a 32 BLM in the Citadel and he zoned about 20 mobs killing (literally) 25+ people. Everyone yelled at him and asked why he would do that and he justified it by saying the exp he would have lost was a lot more than what we lost all together, so training us was ok. Someone needs to go back to math camp.
 
lol I got to party once with Vang, and it was really one of the best parties I have been in. He likes things to be done right and makes sure they are. Luckily I had my SH then so he didn't consider me to be TOO gimp. :cry: I try lol
 
If he's right about melee...

Ok fellow Melee, let's hang up our weapons for a month. Paladins, Ninja's, Thieves, Monks, Dragoons, Warriors, Samurai, Beastmester(I guess they're melee...) and Dark Knights. Let's all just give in to the Gimp and let the rest do their thing.

About all's i can say is skill and loot do not a good player make. If yer lookin to pick a fight with vang over his attitude yer in for a beatin from the entire board. I salute your idealism, but it's utterly pointless. Take it from someone who knows ;)

I don't consider THFs, NINs, or PLDs melee.

Lol please do retire MNKs DRGs WARs DRKs and SAMs for a month, that way us NINs THFs RNGs BRDs and Mages can get the faster xp we deserve and not have to sift through all the garbage to find yet another let down melee party member. :wink:

I've never had a problem with Vang. Yes, he is elitist, and yes, he can be abrasive, but I don't know--he really isn't a bad guy. I'm not really trying to defend him because he brings the controversy on himself, but he does know how to play and he's not an asshole.

About the train thing . . . I dunno, could have been a bad day, or maybe he's an ex-asshole.:lol:

I was bored and felt like zoning a bunch of shit for fun. I see nothing wrong with a good spirited MPK every now and then, not like I was pissed at any of them, just wanted to see some carnage.

It's gonna be great the day I decide to retire for good, I think I will MPK everyone I know, good times good times :D
 
Then there was that time we got done helping someone get AF in garlaige, and you didn't feel like waiting for me to heal mp for Warp 2, so you trained all the way from the second banishing gate.

Didn't you do the same thing another time after we helped Ima and Aarj with Genkai 1 in there?

Now that I see this. Vang's thinking musta gotten to some GM and piss'd him off. This is why Rng is now gimp!! Poor bastards ;/
