Im not much more skilled than the next guy, I do my homework, figure out what needs to be done, and focus on getting it accomplished.

Which is why I know this game revolves more on gear than some made up rumor that it takes "Skill".

Trust me I know of all jobs you MNKs should defiately be here with me on this one when it comes to having skill... :roll:

Maybe that's why Mokk spoke up so fast, he realizes this game takes no skill the best, being that he is a MNK.

I am leveling MNK at the moment, and I don't see how you guys do it. I have almost fell asleep 2-3 times now partying for 4 levels in the Dunes.
 
Mnk is a labour of love more than anything. You have to have an affinity for it to do it and not A) suck B) quit.

And yer right, this "Skill" that everyone talks about is basicly down to looking shit up on the internet so you A) Know wtf you're talking about and B) don't suck at what you're doin.

Sadly thanks to examples not only on the boards but in game i fear the coming influx of players will lack the coherence to actually attempt to open a browser and look something up for themselves as opposed to either posting here for charity info or whinning on game until someone with half a brain gets annoyed and explains it to them. :twisted: :evil:

OIC, i make the cut purposefully to try and get a rise, then don't and call it at that and i'm low. Meanwhile the thread i made for my beef with vang last week gets hijacked by vid and pony who used 3 pages to flame my fatherhood skills and my 6mo old gets no response from the outside ..... good call, way to take the moral high ground now, jackass.

Once again Vang, stay out of my business. My friends know about my mood swings and job shifts in this game. I do go to extremes when I quit a job, as I just sold 90% of my THF gear. You are still an ass in general and that wont ever change. I have camped Argus before, I have gotten the drop before. I camp other NMs and my clothcraft is lvl 80. For you to say that the only way someone can come up with millions of gil in this game is to buy it is just plain fucked up. Unless we are 'you' we don't mean shit to you. I have been playing for almost 1.75 years now and OMFG it would be impossible for me to legit come up with my money. I hope your values in life do not reflect your in game values, else your pa should have turned around and shot the fucking ceiling.

As for the kraken club, it was stated that I was not buying this club by myself. It was stated in my last thread on the topic that we were buying it as a group of friends to play around on, hopefully in August before I deploy. If it doesn't happen before I go to Iraq then I will be 'loaning' my part of the pool until I get back. (good luck ever seeing that money again after a year >.>)
 
As i've noticed there are three steps to dealing with vang, and they are as follows:

1. Acknowledgement: Wtf did this cock-monkey just say to me?
2. Validation: Fuck you, dick-weasel!
3. Acceptance: Man, what an ass .. i do kinda see his point tho

Sadly dealing with him appears to be like going through a car-wreck, in the end it's alot easier and more beneficial to relax then get all tense and put your head through the windshield. 8)

Yet unlike you, I was out of jeuno everyday showing people how i got my gil. You didn't see me in the early days hanging out in jeuno with all the fucking gimps whining about how they can't afford anything because of the NM "monopoly" that SE changed for you pussies. Please believe these are people that are litterally there EVERYDAY. Oh, did you just stumble in one day, claim him in a spot where no one afk could get a tod, and get the drop? Didn't think so.

So keep running your mouth acting tough, everyone knows you're a fake, you don't camp NMs for profit, and your little 80 cloth which im sure you powerleveled off ige gil isn't making you any serious dough. I'm sure you quit leveling cloth too right?

I got the PCC with a friend of mine several months back and we sold it and split the profit. At the time we only got 18mil for it. A couple months later when I could afford my own I looked into buying it for myself for 19mil. About a month after that I sold it to a lvl 75mnk (I dont remember the name) for 22mil in my Bazaar in Rollenbery Fields (Safest transaction). A while after that SE ultimately lowered the price of this thing to what I will presume to be 5mil someday as the steady going price.

At either rate Vang he Wang stop stalking me as you freely admitted to doing. You try to call me out but you have no merit on this. I never said that I make money off of my cloth craft, you presumed I did. You accuse me of powervling my craft yet your the one who is selling all of your gear so you can finish lvling it. You have a vendetta against gil buyers. Fine, great good for you. But you will never understand how I play nor do I care for you to keep stalking me. I do not buy gil, not because I think it is unethical, but because I cannot afford it in RL. My money goes to my college loan repayments, auto-loan and misc expenses. The army still hasn't upped our pay yet but I hear that combat pay is going to $750 a month :P

Oh yah, Vang the Wang, what have you ever done for your country? This isn't me saying I am better than you because I serve our country and you don't. I am better than you because I understand people and do not jump to conclusions.... usually :wink:

Its so sad to consistantly read threads of people claiming to "know" what skill means and consistantly saying this game takes no "skill".

Look up skill in a dictionary and figure out what that means. It seems its more important to people now days for "skill" to go along with a punchline or having it make you sound cool than it does to go along with the actual meaning of the world skill.

What is a skill anyway? Do any of you know? Let me ask you this, do you use a "skill" to read a dictionary?

Not that I really wanna make anything look bad for you Cubs, but.. Mods can't really see that on a phpBB with this because it's almost completely a default installation. Unless you mean you're going to look at his ip address and try to match it with another account. Without getting into the admin panel(which a moderator cannot unless moderator CP is installed, and even the moderator CP doesn't allow access to search and compare IP addresses.) It is obvious that this is a sockpuppet account, if you know who it is by other reasons, please enlighten us. :)

To explain further: Up where the Quote button is, mods (at least FB mods, I'm fairly sure the other group mods have it too) have an IP button. This shows the IP where your post was made (with IP address lookup,) a list of all other users that have used that IP, and all other IPs that user has used to post.

It wasn't very hard to go down the line and see the real account on the same IP. I've also gotten a PM from the non-sock account holder thanking me for not revealing their name.
 
Any goon whose paid the slightest attention to half the posts kyp's made in the last month knows we share a network :P Seriously tho, i'm kinda curious as to who started this, i'd say a few other people are too. If yer gonna try to flame someone why be nadless and use a different account?
