There is no 'next step.' Kyp said I couldn't do something, and I did it. And like Mokk said, it's not really some huge world-altering secret.
Cubs would be in the right for revealing it. One of the rules is to include your game name, so people know who you are. He would simply be enforcing the rule if he did reveal it.

I did later revise that, I was looking at three different versions of phpBB, though, I would most definitely take that ability from a moderator, unless said moderator was someone I knew very, very well. They have no reason to need people's ip addresses since they cannot ban anyone. The abilities include topic lock, delete topic, edit anyone's post(providing that person does not rank higher than them, at least this is how I have mine set up). And if the admin has allowed it they can edit titles of posts.
That ip button is nifty, but very few ips are static, unless you can go to the backend server space and trace them you're really erring with saying one certain ip address is the same as another poster due to IPs being dynamic. If two random users from this board had a common ISP, they could potentially eventually use an ip address used by the other leading to the belief that this is their account.
And just of note: between 1-6 replies will make page ten if the board is on default settings.
