I'd never used one of these until about a week ago. The woman went and picked one up on impulse, and I gotta say it's probably the greatest decision she's ever made on her own.

Is it less damaging to your lungs, since there's no smoke? Is it all the same? Lastly, is the bud waste of any use?
 
I was toying with the idea of buying one, which kind did you get? I'm trying to stop smoking pot, but I'd like to have one just incase I have an impulse any recommendations on which one to get? How was the high?
 
Ive had a couple of these ever since I was a tiny baby. They can also differ in how you use them. Sometimes people just use water, sometimes other solutions (like yourself, hahah). But there is also some of this Vick's liquid you can buy to put inside them, damn, clears your sinuses RIGHT out, lol.

it comes out in a steam instead of smoke. I would imagine the high would be much better this way, since the water will absorb into your blood stream easier and such.

It's called Digi-Vapor. I'll check the box and offer some more details tonight, see if I can upload some pics. It's not at all what I was expecting.

The high is awesome. Blows the crap out of joints. I can't seem to get high off brownies or cookies (had 4 one night and they did nothing, my woman had 2 and almost died so I know they had at least some potency) so I couldn't compare it to baked goods. But it kinda sneaks up on you... like a Mack truck coasting down a hill before knocking you on your ass 3 blocks away. I much prefer it to any other method right now.

¿que? You can put stuff inside it? Ours is pretty simple: put the pot in the hose, stick it on the heated knob thingy, inhale. End of story. Even the second-hand smoke is almost completely undetectable.

I think it just applies mass heat to the pot, but doesn't burn it. So the THC warms up and turns to vapour which you inhale. When you're done with the vaporizer, you are left with weed that looks mostly still green but has little to no THC content.

I (pardon the pun) smell a good way to resell/rip people off!
 
I have one of those.

If you really want to get high, pour some strong alcoholic liquid in it, and mix it with ice (not normal ice. You know, that thing you have in cola that's the gas... frozen that thing. Don't remember the english name of it atm <.< ). Anyway, doing this will make the alcohol to become mixed with the gas, and when you inhale it, it goes straight in to your blood. Can get extremely drunk very fast :o

Its also possible to smoke it like normal, but instead of water you have alcohol. Although I have to admit I didn't try that. I go the alcohol + ice way. Or you could do like you do, and some pot through it. Or do it advanced style, and smoke pot and repalce water with alcohol.

Anyway, I <3 it xD

edit: and yes. You can put stuff in the little bowl below it. You pur water or w/e you want in to it.

I never bought a vaporizer but I have made one. All you need is a cleaned out lightbulb, an empty pen shaft, and a bottle cap.
A vaporizer is pretty much freebasing weed so you are inhaling the THC and not all the crap from lighter and weed leaves.

Was ~$130cdn for ours. If those pics are right, it should look like a little wooden box with a boner sticking out of it. Red LCD panel on the front to display temperature of the heating point.

That looks weird man... the picture posted on page one looks cooler. $130 is too expensive for me lol... I was thinking like $60-80.

Edit: Could you sell the weed to some 14yr olds afterwards with no THC in it... its O'Dweeds Mon!

Oh holy shit this looks awesome, I've never even heard of something like that. Too bad I don't have $130 >.> but everything is more expensive in our neighbors to the north, so maybe they won't be so much here, specially if I get a really cheap one. I'm gonna look into this cause lately I haven't been able to smoke more than once or twice a week, and when I do it kinda hurts my lungs and sometimes makes it hard to breath, this would eliminate that no?
 
Believe me, $130 is worth it. You hardly cough, you get the full ripped effect, feels a lot less stressful on your lungs, and it even makes you less tired. So if you want to do graphics or play games or just rock out to music while high, this is by far the ultimate tool.

There's no roaches, there's no ashes, there's no smelly bong water. You don't have to worry about keeping rollies handy, or filters, or take the time to roll a joint. It heats up in a handful of seconds. You could seriously bust this out, get high, and put it away in the timespan of 4 minutes. Plus any residual smoke is very difficult to detect, so if you have company/family coming then your room/house can be aired out in minutes.

It's seriously completely revolutionized smoking for me. I was planning to spend a few hundred on an upgraded hookah, but now I see very little reason to.

It did for me. It even nullified my inert violence it seems - when I get high as a kite now, I'm just dumb slow and a little twitchy. When I get that high from a joint or bong, I get violent tendencies.

My lungs feel better, my throat doesn't feel as tight and sticky as it used to... I'm a new man Oprah, you changed my life!
