I'm soloing in Giddeus because I'm well stupid and enjoy 15xp at level 14. When I notice all my mobs are gone, and look it's someone training all the mobs in the area. So when when the choochoo goes by I take a yag off and kill it because I can't do anything with this going on.

The level 75 rank 10 THF named Velderin calls me a bitch in /say not /tell, /say.

Then I get lectured about how he is farming uts for his friend and he will clean up the place so I can't kill anything... real internet tough guy talk

I wondered if he talked tough to the GM who told me they put a mark on his record?

He did take a yag off the train, he got bitched at for doing so, hence the flame.

How can you say this on one post, and while simultaneously flaming people for using your mobs in Boyhada? Either mobs are fair game to everyone, or they aren't.

and the differance is that we could actually obtain time worthy exp from the mobs.. he wasnt killing them for anything.. he was killing other mobs..

So Ghostinmyshell is exping in Giddeus, and some guy trains and kills all the mobs, and you can say "They aren't your mobs...what he did wasn't wrong". Meanwhile, you're exping in Boyhada, some guy trains/kills all your mobs, and suddenly it's a flameworthy offense? You need to get over yourself. Pick a stance and stick with it.

Mine/His/Ours is semantics, the point is that's its always been rude for someone higher level to waltz in and take all the mobs from people who are farming/xping for a reason. If he wants to take all the mobs and be a dork about it fine he can do that, since the mob isn't tagged and thus "mine," but he should probably be less rude about it when someone "tags" it off his train.

And yes it's the same thing, if you were in Boyahda and a group of 75s came in and killed all the crawlers you were xping on for their opo opo necklace. You may think the XP for a level 13-14 for soloing is terrible but it really isn't when most of the time you can earn a lot more(with an Empress Band no doubt) then standing around in Valkrum Dunes dealing with those types of groups.

They're not Ghost's mobs, but they're also not Velderin's mobs. And the time he wasted going from one half of the zone to the other was probably enough for the first half he trained to have repopped if he simply killed em to begin with, which would've meant he killed just as many mobs, in the same amount of time..

Shh, don't use logic. Incredibly massive training is the ONLY way to farm. Bonus points when you spew profanity at people who DARE to interrupt. :wink:
