I would like to know what happened to those new weapon skills shown in the video when the WotG first came out. That always bug'd me that never seen light of day yet.

I think we're 9~10 months late for the update SE promised us would have nyzul weapons upgrades in them.

Not really. The interview they said "the update is still quite a ways off"

Well no one said it'd be a one-step process. It could cost as much time and money as a relic weapon.

And even if they took sooner to accomplish and are slightly better, SE said they're buffing relic weapons as well. Morons probably realized that they made themselves a cieling that was way too low finally.

Assuming you did 7 successful climbs per week on one disc it would take you just a hair under 3 weeks to reach the floor 100 weapon drop.

The drop is supposedly 100% guaranteed for the disc-holder's job if they've completed floor 100 a second time.

So what, 6 weeks of climbing? Not too shabby. Now the unlocking process after we finally get that update is another story >.>

The drop is supposedly 100% guaranteed for the disc-holder's job if they've completed floor 100 a second time.

Then you take into account that most statics want to farm other pieces, and other members also want their weapons, and the randomness of nyzul isle where often you can't help but fail, and its roughly 3-4 months to get 1 persons weapons D:

statics also have a tendency to break without warning.
I kinda think i remember there being an interview where se said " the mysteries of the nyzul weapons will be revealed in the next update" Then began the cycle of them putting it off until later.
Either way i dont think 8 months is "soon" by anyone's standards for something like nyzul weaps.

Never said you'd get one in that time in reality, just said assuming you were gunning for them that would be your minimum time.

I think the worse thing they did with relics especially drg and rdm/pld is make weapons very close in base damage with relic.

My mensur epee costs 200k and is 47 base(39 on lolrdmws) excalibur is 49...(granted the additional hp effect saves it a bunch but still)

Thassolocrats are 96 or 98 in base? Geir<tab> is 100

Best part is that when they were first released, SE said "Fuck you DRG" by giving polearm and scythe same 100 damage, but made Scythe's delay lower.

They later changed it, but I found it hillarious.

Yes but does your epee occasionally do 2.5x normal damage?
