Version update

Yep, not getting any chance to download at all. Guess I'm at the bottom of the queue. :evil:


Error code: POL-1160
 
I was getting the 1160 error for about an hour, I finally broke down and rebooted and it went right through. Supposedly 7 minutes left right now.
 
I'm installing again, if it gets stuck at 49.dat again my fist is going through the monitor... :evil:
 
I'm already in game NM camping.
 
If it keeps getting stuck on the same file over and over, try finding that file on your computer and changing the name for a sec. Change the name back when you're done updating, but if it tells you there's already a file with the same name, leave it as-is.
 
5 hours 17 minutes and counting....it should be done by the time I need to go to sleep. :cry:
 
I have been downloading for about an hour and a half, and it still says 2.5 hrs left. I have broadband. This is fuggin ridiculous
 
I have broadband as well and it says 10 hrs + to go....this is ridiculous..why don't they utulize bittorrent like WOW does.
 
Keeps going from ETA: whatever to ETA: Unknown.
Last time it was 10:54:XX or something stupid :shock:

I keep getting past the checking part then it'll DL a few files and disconnect, forcing me to start over. :x I gave up; I'm waiting until like midnight or so to try again. :?
 
Hmmm, mine went down to about 2 hours 16 minutes but now it appears to be stuck at 35%. I'm guessing I'm stuck because the timer keeps refreshing itself, adding time back in.... :?
 
I don't see why if they're updating FFXI, you can't use the other features of PoL...I'd like to bother some of the people who actually did get on....haha... or you know..have a chat to keep my mind occupied... but then again, there's good ol' tv.

Might hafto do this before bed or some crap, took 30 minutes just to finish checking the files it needed to before I see "16 hours remaining"
....
