Very sad ---> Stealing mobs

There has been much drama over stealing NMs, HNMs, etc. Well, I have witnessed the epitome of stupid. People steal these NMs for the items of worth that they drop, however, someone tried to steal a:

GIDDEUS BEE

from me as I was farming in Giddeus not too long ago. A whm came up behind me and casted cure IV on me as I poisoned a bee from far away.....the funniest part was that this was in vain because one boomerang hit can kill the bee. I'm not even going to give this person's name out, because I feel THAT bad for him/her. This is no NM, HNM, God.....this is a giddeus bee.


What's next? MPK by bunny rabbits?

This is a new grief strategy people are using now.
The plan is to do stuff so totally ignorant that you have to log off and come here and flame about it. I know it sounds crazy but just wait until some one gathers about 10 Young Quadav and bring them to where you are resting in South Gustaberg. Thats right, MPK by level 1-5 beastmen.
Honestly I think that was an accident that all those orcs were brought to me in Ronfaure, but I still kinda like the idea. Lol!

It comes down to the same theory of screwing peoples xp I guess. You throw out your highest level cure with like Blaze Spikes on and when the mob comes and hits you for the aggro bye bye xp. I guess in this case either no drop would be rewarded (pointless) or the person with the spikes on would get it.

Person with spikes does not get it I can attest to that. I'm guilty of this, healing somebody with spikes and fudging over thier xp lol. Had to learn this the LOUD way lol.

Because Cure IV is lots of hate... so if its more hate then you have on the mob it will goto them and eventually go yellow from you not getting hate on it, at which point the player stealing can claim it.

Pleases say that youre being sarcastic and you dont think that a random cure on you was malicious. Ususally if I see someone missing some HP il throw at least one cure their way. If you are serious, youre overreacting just a bit

Ah, but they do link if someone drags a bunch to you and then warps out while you're fighting one. At least in Tahrongi Canyon. Chew on that... :lol:

Alot of you are confused.

I wasn't xping, I was farming.

I was competing with this person for beehive chips.

I made this person angry because I'm awsome like that.

These bees never hit me, I was at full health the whole time.

When I logged on to check my AH status, we had a little chat. She apologized to me and claimed that it was her "brother" who did that. Whatever, case closed.
