Viable Solo Areas

I know that there is a guide that is on ffxiclopedia.org for PUP that goes from 1-44, and then it links you to http://wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/wiki/Beastmaster_Viable_Hunting_Grounds. I'm just wondering how well this guide works for PUP, seeing as how the puppet's abilities are obviously different than the abilities of charmed pets.

And on that note, if you did something other than the guide, any ideas as to where to solo 57-75 during downtime when waiting for pt invites?

The problem with that, though, is that you get so backed up with skills. :/

Welll if its any consolation, the buff to EP/DC exp is really nice, you can easily do 4k-5k/hr on EP's solo. I suggest you look for "The path less chosen" and go there. I been finding less popular places the mobs got 75% of the normal HP. Beaucedine, Fei'Yin, Sea Serpent Grotto, Etc. Any way you cut it you will get backed up in skills though unless you get an EXP party ; ;

That still shouldn't be a problem. I'm 67, farming EP's and DC's solo and reaping it, but before the update I only soloed on EM and T mobs. The only thing you really have to worry about is possibly you're auto's melee, and your hand to hand skill, and that only going up 3 or 4 levels per level at the high levels (due to low hand to hand skill :\) it don't take long. For example, once I dinged 67, I raped puk's for about 5k of exp and everything was capped out, just find a EM or T mob that you can handle. Fully soloable with the Soulsoother. Once I hit 75 on pup, I think i'm going to attempt a solo guide, as i've solo'd every level till now! ^_^

Quite a feat there. I've found that I've started soloing less since I hit 40 (52 now), and solo now to get some minor xp. Once I cap magic out I'll start soloing more. But good job on soloing all the way ^^
