In all seriousness, they cant make games like they used to, because half the people that designed those games, arent doing it anymore. Also how do you have something "new and fresh" in an industry that has two dozen games come out every month, for every system. Furthermore, back in that day, you didnt have as many console choices as you do right now.

Analogy time:

I take a poop at regular intervals, and it's almost always a satisfying poop. If I were to rush out my poops, by say using a laxative, it's not satisfying at all and actually rather painful at times, despite being able to poop more often.

Conclusion: Modern gaming is the equivalent of diarrhea.

as weird and gross as this analogy is...it makes perfect sense to me...

oh and btw rushing out poops is always uncomfortable...and usually leaves me unsatisfied...and diarrhea sometimes burns my pooper >.> <.<
